‎​As the Mangrove Planting and Growing Activity Year 3 comes to a successful close, we express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this event possible.

‎​As the famous song goes, today’s successful 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 was a true reflection of 𝒌𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒏 𝒏𝒈 𝒃𝒖𝒉𝒂𝒚. A step toward a greener and healthier future!

‎​Now in its third year, this activity was led by the BVNHS Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), in partnership with the Coast Guard and various school clubs and organizations. Together, this youth-led initiative showcased environmental compassion and a shared vision for a greener local community.

Come along and join us this meaningful activity on 𝕊𝕖𝕡𝕥𝕖𝕞𝕓𝕖𝕣 𝟚𝟘 𝕒𝕥 ℕ𝕦𝕖𝕧𝕒 𝕊𝕖𝕧𝕚𝕝𝕝𝕒, 𝔹𝕒𝕣𝕠𝕥𝕒𝕔 𝕍𝕚𝕖𝕛𝕠, 𝕀𝕝𝕠𝕚𝕝𝕠 for a day of planting mangroves and caring for our environment.

This occasion is a simple step we can do to help support marine life and ensure our environment is preserved for the future generations. Every mangrove we plant can contribute to something better. 𝕐𝔼𝕊-𝕆 ℂ𝕃𝕌𝔹 𝔽𝕀ℝ𝕊𝕋 ℝ𝔼𝔾𝕌𝕃𝔸ℝ 𝕄𝔼𝔼𝕋𝕀ℕ𝔾 🌱

The YES-O Club successfully held its first regular meeting in July 9, 2026, at the Grade 7 SPSTE Room.

The room buzzed with enthusiasm as the officers gathered to exchange ideas and plans for a greener and better school. The meeting officially began with an opening prayer led by the Club President, Ms. Zairah Acosta, before proceeding to the agenda.

During the meeting, the officers presented and discussed several proposed projects that aim to benefit both the school and the environment. They also talked about the appointment of willing Grade 7 representatives to join the club, the official club shirt and ID lace, and the major projects that will be carried out throughout this school year. Guided by their Club Adviser, Ma'am Glaisa Lumampao, the officers received valuable suggestions and encouragement to make their plans more practical, achievable, and impactful. Her guidance helped strengthen the ideas that will soon be turned into meaningful actions.

Most importantly, this meeting was made possible through the cooperation, dedication, and teamwork of every officer. After all, teamwork makes the dream work. Together, we are ready to transform our ideas into actions that will create a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.

𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐂 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓 (𝐁𝐋𝐒) 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐀𝐈𝐃 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆
— held today, June 06, 2026, at BVNHS Alumni Hall, was successfully conducted.

The program commenced with a vibrant gathering, as our dedicated officers united with leaders from various campus organizations, creating an atmosphere buzzing with shared enthusiasm and purpose. Setting a profound tone for the training, Mr. J.E Green Batalasan delivered an inspiring opening message. Beyond merely outlining the technical skills on the agenda, he eloquently emphasized the profound moral responsibility of being equipped and ready to extend a helping hand during critical emergencies.

It was an incredibly valuable learning experience, and the 𝕐𝔼𝕊-𝕆 𝔹𝕍ℕℍ𝕊 community is profoundly grateful for this transformative opportunity. Throughout the intensive training, participants actively engaged in mastering essential life-support techniques and practicing critical, hands-on skills. This included learning the proper mechanics of transporting patients safely to prevent further injury, managing sudden fainting spells, executing precise CPR protocols, and applying effective bandaging techniques for common wounds.
Moving beyond mere theory, the rigorous practical application allowed everyone to truly realize how much a calm, knowledgeable, and swift response can make a difference in a crisis.

While the formal session has concluded, the true journey of learning and preparedness is only just beginning. Today’s triumph was not just about the technical skills acquired, but about cultivating the unwavering confidence to deploy them when it matters most. We step forward from this seminar equipped with vital knowledge and, more importantly, a renewed, shared purpose to protect and serve our community.

3 days of unity, leadership, and collective action. The 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 was indeed our baseline. It taught us the true essence of leadership and the true meaning of what a leader really is. ✨

𝐘𝐄𝐒-𝐎 𝐁𝐕𝐍𝐇𝐒 is beyond grateful for the experience, the memories, and definitely the valuable insights we all have learned. It was not just a call for action; it was an eye-opener to fight for our cause and to stand up for what is right. The 𝚈𝙴𝚂-𝙾 𝙼𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚛𝚘𝚟𝚎 𝙿𝚕𝚊𝚗𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐 and Growing Activity held at Nueva Sevilla was more than just an environmental initiative—it was a meaningful step toward coastal protection, biodiversity conservation, and climate action. Through the collective efforts of dedicated students, teachers, and community leaders, mangrove seedlings were planted not only in the soil, but also in the hearts of everyone involved. This activity highlighted the importance of unity and responsibility in preserving our natural resources for future generations.
