His talk also focused on patient safety goals for effective risk management, highlighting the vital role of nurses in maintaining quality assurance.

Kathleen Marie N. Montaño, PHRN, SCHSRN, USRN, and Medical Monitoring Specialist - Operations Section Head at Remain Medical Group in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, underscored the role of structured processes in achieving the best possible outcomes for clients during her online talk for the PULSE seminar.

When implementing process enhancements, she advised, “Make sure that your operations are not affected while you are making improvements.”

Her talk focused primarily on the process component of the Donabedian framework and the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle. Furthermore, she emphasized the iterative nature of the cycle, noting that each repetition should drive further improvement.
