The Santa Barbara National Comprehensive High School 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (SBNCHS-SSLG), along with the 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗖𝗢𝗖-𝗦𝗢𝗖) and 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗽 𝟮𝟴𝟮 and 𝟭𝟲𝟵 carried on their vision to enhance and nurture the minds of Grades 1-5 pupils through the project, "𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃, 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐊, 𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐖! " 📖🧠

On their final session held last, May 23, 2026, at Brgy. Zone IV, Santa Barbara, Iloilo, these following organizations continued to cultivate and develop the knowledge of the children. Combining fun and learning, not only did the kids gain new information, but they also enjoyed the last of these sessions. ✨

The Santa Barbara National Comprehensive High School 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (SBNCHS-SSLG), together with the 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (COC-SC) and the 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗽 𝟮𝟴𝟮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟭𝟲𝟵 continued the pursuit of enriching Grades 1–5 through the “𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙙, 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠, 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙬!” outreach program.

During the third session, conducted on May 16, 2026, at Brgy. Zone IV, Santa Barbara, Iloilo, the youth volunteers have continued strengthening the minds of students. Through 𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 and 𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, the volunteers and the children have breezed through English, Filipino, and Mathematics.

With shared 𝘴𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘴, the activity ended on a high note and was filled with learning. 📖💫

Through peer tutoring activities, the SSLG Officers and the Girl Scouts not only brought joy and excitement to the young learners but also shared 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲, and 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 by helping them improve their reading and writing skills. ❤️

The SBNCHS - Supreme Secondary Learners Government (SSLG) joined the 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝘄𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺 held last 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at the 𝗦𝗕𝗡𝗖𝗛𝗦 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹. The activity gave students a chance to learn more about photography and filming and how these can be used to share stories and real moments. 📸

During the symposium, guest speaker 𝗠𝗿. 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝘂𝗱𝗼 shared the basic skills and techniques in photography and filming. He explained that cameras are not only used for taking pictures and videos, but also for capturing memories, emotions, and stories that people want to remember.

Through the discussions and activities, the members of organization learned how creativity and communication can help student-leaders inspire and connect with others. The symposium also helped them understand the importance of using media to 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 inside the school community. 🤍

The 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (COC-SC) of West Visayas State University, in partnership with the 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (SSLG) of Santa Barbara National Comprehensive High School, conducted the “Read, Think, Grow!” outreach program.

The first session was conducted today, May 2, 2026, at Brgy. Zone IV, Sta. Barbara, Iloilo, which catered to 40 elementary pupils through peer tutoring sessions that aimed to develop their 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙮 and 𝙣𝙪𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙮 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨. 🎯
