Yesterday, our Grade 4 and Grade 6 learners came together for a joyful and meaningful Recollection on Friendship. The day was guided by our facilitator and Mass presider, Rev. Fr. Aimark P. Asor, OSA, Vice President for Administration and Finance of the University of San Agustin.

The program was filled with fun activities that brought smiles and laughter, balanced with moments of reflection that deepened the learners’ understanding of friendship as a gift rooted in faith, kindness, and shared growth.

Through prayer and reflection, our learners were reminded that true friendship is about supporting one another, celebrating differences, and walking together in God’s love.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Fr. Aimark P. Asor, OSA, and to everyone who made this recollection possible. May the lessons learned continue to inspire our learners to nurture friendships that uplift, unite, and strengthen our community.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sad news of the passing of our former teacher, Sir Jyko Gabriel D.Yee. Today, we remember him not only as an educator but as a mentor, guide, and friend who touched the lives of many learners, parents, and colleagues during his time with us. His dedication to teaching, his kindness, and his unwavering commitment to nurturing young minds have left a lasting mark on our school community.

Sir Gab’s legacy will continue to inspire us. He was more than a teacher—he was a source of wisdom, encouragement, and compassion. His contributions to SSMI will always be cherished, and his memory will remain alive in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones during this time of grief. May we all keep him in our prayers and honor his life by continuing the values he instilled in us.

May his soul rest in peace.🕊️

MAPEH—Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health. This event is more than just a showcase; it is a testament to the creativity, discipline, and teamwork that each of our learners has cultivated throughout the year.

MAPEH is not only about skills and talents—it is about expression, wellness, and culture. Through music and arts, we discover the beauty of imagination. Through physical education, we learn the value of strength, resilience, and teamwork. Through health, we embrace the importance of caring for ourselves and others.

This culmination is a celebration of holistic growth—mind, body, and spirit. It is also a reminder that education is not confined to books and classrooms, but is lived through rhythm, movement, and healthy choices.
