📰 ​NEWS UPDATE: JARO NHS CONCLUDES STE PROGRAM ORIENTATION AND ENROLLMENT FOR SY 2026-2027

​Jaro National High School successfully conducted the Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) Program Orientation and Enrollment for the incoming Grade 7 learners earlier today, May 5, 2026, at the JNHS Covered Stage.

​The proceedings aimed to outline the operational and academic framework of the STE curriculum for School Year 2026-2027. During the orientation, parents and learners were briefed on the program's specialized learning areas, stringent academic standards, and rigorous research commitments.

​The event featured a welcoming message from Head Teacher IV Harly S. Sollano, PhD, while School Principal IV Melanie J. Tabaculde extended her full support to the incoming cohort and the program's success.

A comprehensive program overview was then presented by Master Teacher II Romark John B. Jerez. Further discussions regarding guidance concerns and official uniform specifications were led by Guidance Counselor Shareal Joy L. Camacho and Grade 7 STE Class Adviser Roanne J. Jaboneta, respectively. Ensuring the smooth flow of the morning's activities was Teacher III Giechel C. Lopez, who served as the Master of Ceremony.

​The event formally concluded with a contract signing, finalizing the stakeholders' commitments, followed directly by the enrollment procedures for the qualified candidates.

​To all incoming Grade 7 STE applicants and parents:

​Please be informed that ALL applicants who successfully took the Qualifying Examination last March 7 will proceed to the Face-to-Face Interview phase. The interview is the LAST phase of the STE screening process. This serves as the crucial Behavioral Test component, which makes up 25% of the total admission criteria.

​Jaro National High School successfully administered the written Qualifying Examination for incoming Grade 7 applicants of the Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) Program, March 7, 2026.

​Hopeful applicants filled the testing rooms early morning, putting their best foot forward as they tackled the standardized assessment in Science, English, and Mathematics. This rigorous written exam is a critical step in the screening process, constituting 60% of the applicants' overall ranking for admission into the specialized curriculum.

​NEXT PHASE: FACE-TO-FACE INTERVIEWS

With the written exams officially concluded, the STE applicants will advance to the final phase of the screening process: the Face-to-Face Interview, scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
