Last April 24-25, 2023, the University Research Center held the first face-to-face post-pandemic research symposium with the theme: "Paulinian Researches: Informing New Knowledge, Policies, and Practices, Aiding the Nation"
This year's research symposium showcased 17 oral research presentations and 17 research poster presentations from the different colleges and departments of the university.
On the second day of the symposium, keynote speaker Dr. Rhoda Mae Simora of the University of the Philippines Visayas talked about the importance of Advancing Research in Fisheries through Efficient and Sustainable Technologies.

Anna Loraine Jalbuena, Zamairah Lynn Madale, and Eon Segumalian, 4th year student nurses from the College of Nursing of St. Paul University Iloilo are currently presenting the posters of their studies entitled “Perceived Effectiveness of Online Return Demonstration to Paulinian Student Nurses’ Confidence and Satisfaction”. Another study entitled “Perceived Risk and Coping Strategies of Pregnant Women to COVID-19” authored by Emily Faith Ynion, Johnelle Marie Adenic, Adrian Forro, and Kyla Joy Ramos was also presented at the ADPCN 20th National Conference for Nursing Students with the theme “Transformation and Sustainability in Nursing Education” held at the Manila Hotel, Metro Manila, on October 8, 2022.
