TEAM PHCares is UIP RUN 6 GRAND CHAMPION!!!
Most people say, "Kuto lang 'yan. Hindi problema 'yan." But, it's not 'just kuto'. It's a major epidermal parasitic disease and we have to stop neglecting it. It's the health of the Filipino children, who are commonly affected by it, that is compromised. This victory is our way of telling the whole Filipino nation that it is possible to eradicate pediculosis in our country if we all work together.
Our heartfelt gratitude to:
- The faculty and staff of Miagao West Central Elementary School especially to Ma’am Ma. Rosario Bilbao, the school principal, for accepting the project and making your school our home
- Ma’am Deborah Altschuler and the National Pediculosis Association, Inc. in Massachusetts, USA for donating LiceMeister® combs and for your big trust in our project
- Brgys. Tabunacan, Damilisan, Palaca, Buenavista Norte and Potrido in Miagao, Iloilo who extended their support in all our activities which brought us great happiness and encouragement
- MWCES students, who actively participated in all our activities, thank you for touching our lives and for giving us wonderful memories that are worth a lifetime to keep;
You are all the true winners and definitely the true owners of the "Oplan 4Ks: Kaakibat Kontra Kuto para sa Kabataan".
Thank you Unilab Foundation and Ideas Positive for trusting us with this project and for the wonderful opportunity.
Let's make Philippines a "Kuto-free" country! Let's all continue to help build a ! :)
"Do not neglect what has already been neglected. Even the littlest problems can create larger setbacks upon buildup. SO ACT NOW!"
