To teach is to pour our hearts out every day, and our voice is the bridge that connects us to our Sta. Catalina Central School learners. For years, speaking over the natural chatter of a full classroom meant going home with a strained voice and an exhausted body.

Today, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. Thank you so much, .PH, for providing us with these lapel microphones.

WHERE LOVE MEETS LEARNING: THE ARAL PROGRAM TAKES ROOT AT SCCS!✨️

Yesterday, July 29, 2026, those profound words from our DepEd Vision wall came alive at Sta. Catalina Central School. Under the inspiring, hands-on leadership of our School Principal, Mr. Romel T. Gallardo, our dedicated ARAL Tutors gathered with a single, heartbeat-driven mission: to ensure that no child is left behind in the dark.

Tuning into the national ARAL (Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning) Program Orientation, our educators sat with open hearts and ready minds. Behind them stood our school’s historic seals; before them lay the future of our learners.

The ARAL Program is not just an administrative rollout—it is a lifeline of hope. It is a collective promise to hold the hands of our struggling readers, to guide our children through the language of numbers, and to restore the confidence that global challenges tried to steal from them.

Yesterday was a beautiful reminder that teaching is not just a job—it is a sacred calling. Our teachers are not just entering classrooms; they are stepping up as anchors of recovery, healing academic gaps with patience, expertise, and unconditional love.

To our dear parents and community stakeholders, your children are in safe, loving, and capable hands. Together, we will turn every struggle into a story of triumph! 🌟🤝

"A healthy mind begins with a healthy body. At Sta. Catalina Central School, we believe that safeguarding our pupils' physical well-being is the most foundational investment we can make in their academic success and future dreams."💕👩‍❤️‍👨

July 21, 2026- Sta. Catalina Central School, in strong partnership with the Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Sta. Catalina headed by Municipal Health Officer (MHO), Dr. Mary Christine "Tin" Villar successfully conducted its Urinalysis Screening and Health Orientation today for our Grades 4 to 6 pupils!

Through this collaborative health caravan, our young learners were taught essential daily habits to keep their bodies strong, active, and well-protected. We believe that a healthy child is a successful pupil, and giving them the right care today ensures a brighter, healthier tomorrow for our community!

Here are the 6 Golden Health Habits we are encouraging all our SCCS pupils to practice both at school and at home:

🥗 Kumain ng Masustansya – Eat healthy, balanced meals.
💧 Uminom ng Sapat na Tubig – Stay hydrated throughout the day.😴 Matulog ng Sapat – Get enough rest to recharge your body.
🏃‍♂️ Maging Aktibo – Keep moving and stay physically fit.
🧼 Maghugas ng Kamay – Wash hands regularly to keep germs away.🛡️ Magpatingin at Magpabakuna – Stay updated on check-ups and vaccines.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to the dedicated RHU medical team for making our pupils' health a top priority!

STRONGER TOGETHER: A New Chapter of Collaboration and Excellence!

“At the end of the day, the most overwhelming key to a child's success is the positive involvement of parents.” — Jane D. Hull📖

Today marks a monumental milestone for the Sta. Catalina Central School community! We officially ushered in a new era of shared responsibility and dedicated leadership during the Solemn Induction Ceremony of the School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) Officers for School Year 2026-2027.

The newly elected SPTA officers under the leadership of Ms. Lorina Gamalog Dela Cueva took their solemn oath of office, administered by our young visionary principal and Inducting Officer, Mr. Romel T. Gallardo.

In his powerful address, he reminded everyone of the true heart of this union, emphasizing that our pupils are the ultimate purpose and main objective of this collaboration. Every meeting, every project, and every sacrifice is dedicated entirely to the growth, safety, and success of our learners. When the school and the home unite with the child at the center, greatness is inevitable.

To our newly inducted SPTA officers, thank you for stepping up to the challenge. Your volunteerism, passion, and commitment are the fuel that will drive our school's projects forward. We know that with your leadership, our parents and teachers will march to a single beat—the heartbeat of our pupils'dreams.

Congratulations to the SPTA Officers of SY 2026-2027!
Let’s make this year remarkable!✨️

EMPOWERING OUR YOUTH FOR A SAFER TOMORROW!

"Kabataang Ligtas at Katuwang sa Kahandaan!" (Safe Youth and Partners in Preparedness!)

Today, July 15, 2026, selected Grade 4 to Grade 6 learners from Centro Eskwela officially stepped up to become our community’s newest safety advocates by actively participating in the FIRE SQUARE ROAD SHOW 2026 (KABALIKAT) at the Farmers Civic Center!

We extend our deepest gratitude and highest commendation to the brave men and women of Sta. Catalina Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and Philippine National Police (PNP. Through their expertise, patience, and dedicated mentorship, our pupils received world-class, hands-on training in fire safety and emergency response.

This groundbreaking initiative, themed "BIDA ang BATA," transformed vital disaster readiness into interactive, life-saving lessons. Under the care of Mr. Romel Gallardo (school principal), Mr. Geronimo Pre (Teaching Personnel) and Ms. Fely Ann Alicar (AOII), our young learners engaged in practical simulations, learning firsthand how to protect themselves, their families, and their school.

This successful event is a testament to strong community collaboration, brought to life through the joint efforts of the Municipality of Sta. Catalina under the leadership of its town's executive, Mayor Eugene Rapanut, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Managemwnt Council (MDRRMC) organizers, and our school leaders.

By equipping our children with these vital survival skills today, we are building a resilient generation that stands prepared, calm, and ready to help tomorrow. They are no longer just pupils; they are now true partners (KABALIKAT) in community safety! Kudos!

Behind every brilliant child is a parent who cares and a teacher who protects. Together, they create a circle of support that cannot be broken.🫂🏩✨️

Gallardo, successfully conducted the School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) Election for School Year 2026-2027, alongside a meaningful dialogue regarding vital school concerns.

ONE FAMILY IN FAITH: RENEWING OUR SOULS UNDER THE HOLY SPIRIT’S EMBRACE 🕊️🏩

Theme: "Umayka Espiritu Santo, Umayka! Tignayennakami Iti Misyon Sinodo"✨️🙏

"When the Holy Spirit moves, education transcends the classroom—it transforms the soul, guiding our young learners from the grace of the Holy Table to the healing mercy of forgiveness." 💖👫

Today, July 2, 2026, the Sta. Catalina Central School community gathered in deep faith and unity for our Monthly Mass, celebrating the "Daliasat Sinodo Rambak Misa Espiritu Santo.

"We were truly blessed to have our beloved Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Albert Rabe, officiate the Eucharistic celebration. His inspiring message reminded us of our shared journey as a synodal church.

Following the Holy Mass, our Grade 6 pupils participated in the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession). This sacred opportunity allowed our young learners to renew their hearts, seek forgiveness, and strengthen their spiritual walk with God.

Thank you to Fr. Albert Rabe, our dedicated teachers, staff, parents, and pupils who made this Eucharistic celebration meaningful and grace-filled. May the Holy Spirit continue to move us and guide us in our synodal mission! 🕊️👥️
