Upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), and in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon, government offices in the National Capital Region and the provinces of Abra, Benguet, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, Zambales, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Occidental Mindoro, and Oriental Mindoro are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements on 19 August 2026.

Agencies delivering essential and vital services shall continue their operations. Alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented in public and private schools in the aforementioned areas.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

On August 3, 2026, Naglaoa-an National High School proudly shares that personnel from the Engineering Office of the Local Government of Santo Domingo conducted an inspection of the proposed project for the provision of a drainage system and grill, funded by the Special Education Fund (SEF).

This initiative reflects the continued support of the Local Government Unit of Santo Domingo in improving the schoolโ€™s facilities and ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment for all learners. The inspection marks an important step toward the implementation of the project, which aims to address drainage concerns within the school premises.
