ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 19

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 129, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 19, 2026:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Abra
📍 Benguet
📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro
📍 Oriental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Isang taos-pusong pasasalamat ang ipinaabot ng mga g**o ng Silag-Pacang Integrated School sa Kagawaran ng Edukasyon (DepEd) sa pagkakaloob ng mga lapel microphone para sa ating mga tagapagturo.

Malaking tulong ang mga lapel microphone upang maging mas malinaw ang boses ng mga g**o sa kanilang pagtuturo at mga talakayan. Sa pamamagitan nito, mas madali para sa ating mga mag-aaral na marinig, maunawaan, at makasabay sa bawat aralin.

Maraming salamat po, DepEd Philippines at DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara, sa patuloy na pagsuporta at pagtugon sa pangangailangan ng ating mga g**o at mag-aaral.

Ang inyong pagkalinga at suporta ay malaking ambag sa paglikha ng mas maayos, mas masigla, at mas epektibong learning environment.
