Tinig ng Wika, Himig ng ASEAN|SPEAK AP-Agust 8, 2026

Ngayong Agosto 3, 2026, matagumpay na isinagawa ng P.Q. Pimentel Elementary School angTinig ng Wika, Himig ng ASEAN sa pangunguna ni Mrs. Marilen C. Andres kasama ang mga Grade 1 learners.

Sa simpleng gawaing ito, naipakita ng ating mga batang Pimentelians ang pagmamahal sa wikang Filipino, paggalang sa iba’t ibang kultura, at diwa ng pagkakaisa bilang bahagi ng ASEAN.

Kaagapay ng gawaing ito ang SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), at SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) sa paghuhubog ng mga batang may malasakit, respeto, at pagkakaisa.

From Healthy Plates to Purposeful Leadership

P.Q. Pimentel Elementary School proudly celebrated the Nutrition Month 2026 Culminating Program, a joyful and meaningful event highlighted by the Parada ng Head Dress, Feeding Program, Zumba Dance, and the Induction Ceremony of the newly elected SPTA, SELG, and HPTA Officers.

This celebration reminded us that good nutrition and strong leadership go hand in hand. As we promote healthy habits among our learners, we also welcome a new administration of student and parent leaders who are ready to serve with dedication, responsibility, unity, and teamwork for the betterment of our school community.

Congratulations to all participants, winners, and newly inducted officers. We also extend our sincere gratitude to the supportive parents, teachers, school head, and stakeholders whose unwavering support made this celebration successful, memorable, and inspiring.

NUTRITION MONTH 2026 | CULMINATING PROGRAM

P.Q. Pimentel Elementary School successfully celebrated the Nutrition Month 2026 Culminating Program, highlighting the importance of healthy living through fun, meaningful, and engaging activities.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the colorful **Parada ng Head Dress**, where learners proudly showcased their creativity by wearing nutritious food-inspired headpieces made from fruits, vegetables, and other healthy food items.

The event also featured a lively Zumba Dance that encouraged physical fitness and active lifestyles, followed by a Feeding Program that promoted the value of proper nutrition and healthy eating among learners.

Congratulations to all participants, parents, teachers, and stakeholders whose support and cooperation made this celebration a success. Together, let us continue to nurture healthy habits and inspire our learners to become strong, active, and nutrition-conscious individuals.

P.Q. Pimentel Elementary School proudly participated in the Provincewide Schools Simultaneous Earthquake Drill held on July 30, 2026, in compliance with Executive Order No. CAM-014-26 issued by the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte.

The activity aimed to strengthen earthquake preparedness, promote disaster awareness, and ensure the safety and resilience of our learners, teachers, school personnel, and the entire school community. We are especially grateful to our parents and guardians who actively joined the drill and supported the activity, demonstrating our shared commitment to creating a safer and more prepared learning environment.

In celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month 2026, P.Q. Pimentel Elementary School conducted a Speak AP Activity to promote disaster awareness and strengthen the culture of preparedness and resilience among its learners.

The activity was facilitated by Mrs. Jovelle L. Raguindin, with the enthusiastic participation of Kindergarten and Grade 1 learners and the active support of the entire Pimentelian community. Through meaningful discussions and engaging activities, our learners deepened their understanding of disaster preparedness and learned that being informed, alert, and working together are the keys to staying safe during emergencies.

Pinggang Pinoy: Isabuhay ang Wastong Nutrisyon para sa Malusog na Kinabukasan

In celebration of Nutrition Month, our Grade 6 learners took part in the SPEAK AP Activity: Pinggang Pinoy, where they learned the importance of making healthy food choices and living a balanced lifestyle.

More than just learning about proper nutrition, the activity reminded our learners that taking care of their health is part of being a responsible citizen. Healthy individuals help build healthier families, stronger communities, and a better nation.

This meaningful learning experience was facilitated by Mrs. Zhorien Jane C. Cacas together with the Grade 6 learners, fostering the values of discipline, responsibility, and wellness.
