This timeless adage perfectly captures the grueling yet triumphant journey of the Batch Sarihaya Class of 2025–2026 as they officially graduate from the ranks of the Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) Advance Cadet Officer Corps.

From the grueling days of entering the unit as raw 4th Class cadets to finally standing tall as 1st Class officers, the collective journey of Batch Sarihaya has been nothing short of extraordinary.

They started their military journey with a shared vision, endured sleepless nights, heavy trials, and rigorous training, remaining steadfast through every mental and physical challenge thrown their way. Over the years, their bond was tested by fire, but their commitment to service, discipline, and country never wavered.

That resilience reaps its highest reward. As they hang up their training uniforms and step forward into their next chapters, they leave behind a legacy of dedication that will inspire the next generation of MSU-IIT cadets.

𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐛𝐨 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟖: 𝟐𝟓 𝐌𝐒𝐔-𝐈𝐈𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐂𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐧𝐨𝐧

Twenty-five (25) proud cadets from the MSU-IIT ROTC Unit, Batch Silakbo 2028, are departing for their advanced military training. The 25 candidates will undergo the RSCT-ARAPT MS 31/32 program to develop their leadership, discipline, and tactical skills.

​This incoming training will be conducted by the 10th Regional Community Defense Group (10RCDG) under the Reserve Command, Philippine Army (RESCOM, PA). The entire program will take place at Camp Osito D. Bahian in Impalambong, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

Ready to face the challenges ahead, these future student-officers are eager to start their journey and prepare to serve their country and community with honor.

ILIGAN CITY — Demonstrating excellent discipline, precision, and tactical proficiency, the Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) Reserve Officer' Training Corps (ROTC) Unit emerged as one of the elite performers during the ROTC Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2026. Out of the 12 activated ROTC units evaluated across the region under the 10th Regional Community Defense Group (10RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army (RESCOM, PA), MSU-IIT successfully secured a coveted spot in the Top 5, garnering an impressive overall score of 92.61%.

The high-stakes annual inspection rigorously evaluated the cadets on administrative efficiency, military drills, and tactical operations to test their overall readiness and discipline. This remarkable achievement highlights the unit's core values of Honor, Duty, and Patriotism.

In light of this major milestone, the unit extends its deepest gratitude to all the MSU-IIT ROTC cadets, whose immense dedication, hard work, and active participation played a vital role in making this activity a resounding success. This outstanding 92.61% rating stands as a collective triumph for the entire corps, further solidifying MSU-IIT's reputation for producing highly disciplined civic leaders and resilient reservists.
