Olilicon Elementary School Takes Part in the Nationwide Simultaneous Flag-Raising Ceremony

July 6, 2026 – In solidarity with schools across the country, Olilicon Elementary School participated in the nationwide simultaneous flag-raising ceremony in anticipation of the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award.

The activity serves as an opportunity to deepen the understanding of learners, teachers, and school personnel about the Philippines' sovereignty, sovereign rights, and lawful maritime entitlements in the West Philippine Sea. It also encourages patriotism and a stronger sense of national responsibility among members of the school community.

By joining this meaningful observance, Olilicon Elementary School expresses its support for initiatives that promote national awareness, unity, and the peaceful protection of the country's sovereign rights.

OLILICON Elementary School warmly welcomed the officials from the Schools Division Office of Ifugao during their monitoring visit for the Opening of Classes for School Year 2026–2027.

The visit aimed to determine and validate the actual number of enrolled pupils and to ensure the smooth opening of classes.

Present during the monitoring were Mam Brenda A. Ducusin, EPS–Science; Sir Vicente B. Buyuccan Jr., District Supervisor–Lagawe; and Sir Jamezel Namingit from SDO Ifugao.

BRIGADA PLUS | The spirit of bayanihan continues!

Even though the official Brigada Eskwela was held on June 1–5, our supportive and dedicated parents continue rendering their time and effort through Brigada Plus to help finish the school walkway project.

This initiative aims to provide a safer path for our learners, especially during the rainy season, protecting them from walking on flooded and grassy grounds. Truly, this reflects the parents’ love, concern, and commitment for the welfare of the pupils and the school.

With grateful hearts, we officially opened another school year through a meaningful prayer offering for our learners, teachers, and the entire school community led by Hon. Gliceria Allaga, praying for guidance, wisdom, protection, and a fruitful year ahead. 🙏
