A Day to Celebrate, Appreciate, and Make Our Teachers Smile!

Teachers’ Day became extra special as our students prepared a fun-filled celebration to honor the people who inspire, guide, and shape young minds.

The celebration kicked off with a Teachers’ Ramp, where our amazing teachers confidently walked the runway with their motos, followed by a fun and exciting introduction of their names.

The appreciation continued with the giving of gifts, heartfelt cards, and beautiful flowers—simple gestures that carried so much love and gratitude.

And of course, the fun didn’t stop there! Our teachers enjoyed a series of exciting parlor games, including the Sack Race with a Twist, Flour Game, Kissing the Card, Stop Dance, and Balloon Popping with a Twist. Different prizes were awarded, making the celebration even more memorable!

The program concluded with meaningful closing remarks from Audrey Chawana, SSLG Vice President, followed by a prayer led by Crystal Bandao.

- To our dear teachers, thank you for your patience, dedication, and love for your students. Today was not only about celebrating Teachers’ Day—it was about reminding you that your efforts are seen, your sacrifices are appreciated, and your presence makes a difference.

Happy Teachers’ Day!
May this celebration remind us that behind every lesson taught is a heart that chooses to serve.

LAMUT, IFUGAO — POGNAD Teen Center of Ubao National High School Extension proudly participated in the Youth for Youth (U4U) Teen Trail Training of Trainers (TOT), held on September 7–9, 2026, at the Eyecare Restaurant Events Venue, Lamut, Ifugao.

Representing POGNAD were Teen Facilitators Godfrey V. Benu-e and Heartlee Lingbawan, together with participants from different Teen Centers across Ifugao, with two student facilitators and one Guidance Designate/Teacher per center. The training carried the theme “Building Peer Leaders through Stronger Teen Centers.”

Funded by the Provincial Health Office and facilitated by Ms. Stephanie B. Licyayo, RN, MAN, and her team, the training strengthened the participants’ leadership and facilitation skills.

Godfrey received a Leadership Award for serving as Head Facilitator during the rollout at Ifugao Provincial Science High School, while Heartlee was recognized as one of the active participants.

POGNAD also extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Office of the Municipal Mayor, headed by Hon. Clemente S. Talusig, through Ma’am Myrtle H. Mombael, for generously providing free transportation to and from the training for the Aguinaldo participants and Guidance Designate/Teacher.

The three-day training may have ended, but the journey of learning, leading, and serving continues. May the spirit of Youth4Youth inspire us to keep building stronger Teen Centers, empowering peer leaders, and creating a better and brighter future for the youth of Ifugao

END-OF-TERM FELLOWSHIP | September 3, 2026

As we closed another term, we were reminded of one powerful truth: Prayer is not just something we do in times of need—it is a lifestyle of walking with God. 💙

We are grateful to Pastor Absolom Locquia of BCF Halag for sharing a timely and inspiring message centered on Colossians 4:2:

📖 “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.”

The message reminded us of why we need to pray:
✨ Prayer gives wisdom — God guides us when we seek Him.
✨ Prayer helps us in times of trouble — it gives us strength to persevere. Make prayer a lifestyle.
✨ Prayer changes our lifestyle — when we draw closer to God, our hearts and actions are transformed.
✨ Prayer heals — God meets us in our brokenness and brings comfort, restoration, and hope.

As we end this term, may we carry this reminder beyond the fellowship: Pray not only when life is difficult, but every day, in every season. Let prayer become our constant connection with God. 🙏✨

A praying heart is a heart that stays close to God. 💙

Rise Above Discouragement, Walk with God 🙏✨

Ubao National High School Extension held its weekly fellowship on August 25, 2026, featuring presentations from Grades 7–11 as a celebration of their God-given talents.

The exhortation was delivered by Daizy Grace G. Yongoyong, based on Jeremiah 20:1–13, highlighting three ways to rise above discouragement: Be honest, be obedient, and be watchful. Above all, we are reminded to trust God, follow His will, and bring our struggles honestly to Him.

The fellowship ended with a closing prayer led by Nika M. Gano.

When discouragement comes, keep trusting, keep obeying, and keep walking with God. ✨
