CITAC CSI conducts first-ever Sports Fest
With the theme, "Empowering Students as Agents of Innovation and Change", the CITAC Christian School, Inc., organized various Sports Fest and Literary Contest for Students Day 2025. It was participated by mixed groups from elementary and Junior High School students divided into four teams namely: Mafoshe an Fukagwi, Natong an Tuag, Hume'jad an Amfaju, and Mafiah an Faniyah.
The morning program was held at the Chapel Hall on December 17, 2025 wherein three contested literary activities namely; Solo Singing Contest, Declamation Contest, and Modern Dance Competition, with one entry per team took place. These activities, including the team banner competion, were judged by the panel of juries: Ms. Kristen D. Gragasin, Ms. Micah Joy G. Buccahi, and Hon. Jaweh D. Habbiling represented by his staff, Ms. Rosebelle Tuguinay.
Afterwards, the reserved championship match for volleyball, badminton, and table tennis took place after the program. Game 1 and Game 2 happened ahead on December 16, 2025, together with Squabble, one of the board games. Prior contested board game activities including Chess, Damath, Sci-damath, and Scrabble happened on December 10, 2025.
Furthermore, in the afternoon, while the championship match for volleyball was on going, non-players played carnival games at the Chapel Hall.
Each team carried the spirit of sportmanship as they courageously participated in the different sports and literary competition to earn points in the various contested activities. These points will be tallied to determine the overall champion. The most awaited awarding of prizes will be on January 2026.
The sportsfest ended triumphantly in the afternoon of December 16.
