Employees Strengthen Rapport in Year-end

Teaching and non-teaching staffs of CITAC Christian School, Inc. gathered together for their year-end thanksgiving celebration at the Chapel Hall.

The employees enjoyed the moment through fun games, lunch fellowship, and giving of gifts and giveaways.

The gathering was made even more meaningful through the testimonies shared by the staffs as they remember and reflect on the goodness of God in their work this year 2025. They were also hopeful for the upcoming year as they have 3 more months before the school year ends.

The celebration ended with a prayer of thanksgiving and declaration of blessing for the coming year.

This meaningful activity for the faculty and staff was organized by Ms. Daisy B. Pagal, the Teacher-in-Charge.

CITAC CSI Ends Year with Cheer

Anchored from the key verse in 1 Thessalonians 5:18---In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you", CITAC Christian School, Inc. celebrates its year-end thanksgiving celebration on December 18, 2025 at the Chapel Hall.

Rev. Lilian P. Ambojnon, the keynote speaker, expounded the key verse through a story of two men's life experiences pointing out that in all circumstances, favorable or not, we must learn to give thanks to God.

Rev. Ambojnon shared a two-point lesson from the story on why people have to give thanks in everything. Firstly, God commanded people to give Him thanks. Secondly, it is His will that people will give thanks to Him. She further added that a grateful heart will result to good health.

Meanwhile, different presentations were performed by the students in the four different departments. Trivia questions were also given with prizes to keep the attention of the audience.

It ended with a Thanksgiving Song led by Teacher Rochelle G. Buyuccan and a prayer by Rev. Ambojnon.

The students and parents proceeded to their respective classrooms for their class year-end program, lunch fellowship, and gift-giving.

CITAC CSI conducts first-ever Sports Fest

With the theme, "Empowering Students as Agents of Innovation and Change", the CITAC Christian School, Inc., organized various Sports Fest and Literary Contest for Students Day 2025. It was participated by mixed groups from elementary and Junior High School students divided into four teams namely: Mafoshe an Fukagwi, Natong an Tuag, Hume'jad an Amfaju, and Mafiah an Faniyah.

The morning program was held at the Chapel Hall on December 17, 2025 wherein three contested literary activities namely; Solo Singing Contest, Declamation Contest, and Modern Dance Competition, with one entry per team took place. These activities, including the team banner competion, were judged by the panel of juries: Ms. Kristen D. Gragasin, Ms. Micah Joy G. Buccahi, and Hon. Jaweh D. Habbiling represented by his staff, Ms. Rosebelle Tuguinay.

Afterwards, the reserved championship match for volleyball, badminton, and table tennis took place after the program. Game 1 and Game 2 happened ahead on December 16, 2025, together with Squabble, one of the board games. Prior contested board game activities including Chess, Damath, Sci-damath, and Scrabble happened on December 10, 2025.

Furthermore, in the afternoon, while the championship match for volleyball was on going, non-players played carnival games at the Chapel Hall.

Each team carried the spirit of sportmanship as they courageously participated in the different sports and literary competition to earn points in the various contested activities. These points will be tallied to determine the overall champion. The most awaited awarding of prizes will be on January 2026.

The sportsfest ended triumphantly in the afternoon of December 16.

Preschoolers play station games on Carnival Fest

Grouped into six teams, the preschool pupils both in morning and afternoon class, led by the Junior High School (JHS) students, played simultaneously on six different carnival games on December 16, 2025 at the Chapel Hall.

The station games namely: Ring Toss, Rimshot, Pingpong Ball, Bowling, Pop It, and Bull's Eye were handled by teachers in the Preschool Department and in the JHS Department.

The JHS leaders per team were briefed ahead about the mechanics of each station game and their route in order for them to lead the preschoolers properly. Timer of fifteen minutes per station was set. Once they heard the base drum sounded, it means the time is up and each team must move to the next station to play.

Three station games were played before a snack break of 30 minutes. The games resumed after the break until lunch time.

The preschoolers enjoyed the station games.

CITAC CSI celebrates IPEd Day

CITAC Christian School, Inc. celebrated Indigenous People's Education (IPEd) Day this morning with various engaging activities for the students to experience their cultural identity as "Immipugo" or Ifugao people.

Starting of with a short program at the Chapel Hall, the students gathered to witness an interesting presentation by selected students from the Junior High School Department showcasing some of the Ifugao traditions.

Afterwards, two parents, namely Mrs. Jenilyn M. Cabbigat and Ptr. Delfin K. Cannog, demonstrated the proper wearing of Ifugao native attires for female and male, respectively, together with two student models namely Zia Craine M. Dulnuan of Grade 2 Acts and Paul James D. Dulnuan of Grade 9 Thessalonians.

Moreover, there was a community dance wherein students and parents per department were given a chance to dance the "Dinuyya," an Ifugao native dance of the Tuwali Tribe. Two students and a parent beat the gongs live for a fresh rhythm for the dance.

Meanwhile, simultaneously, the students played indigenous games like guyyudan, akkad, hanggul, labba race, and upak race. Parents guided the students to do munbayu and munta-op.

With the guidance of parents who were around, the students also participated in the Munbakleh using grated cassava as the main ingredient, and Munlagim with native chickens.

They all enjoyed their lunch per class with inlagim as their viand and binakleh as their snacks, along with other indigenous food prepared.

Ms. Shirly B. Buy-ag, the activity coordinator, expressed her gratitude for the active participation of the students and the continuous support of the parents and guardians.

School releases studes' IDs

The student officially worn their school IDs during the ID-wearing Ceremony held at the old Chapel Hall on August 28, 2025.

For almost a month of preparation from finalizing the details needed, to taking pictures, to printing of the identification/ID card, then to preparing the whole set which includes the ID card, ID lace, and the ID case, the school finally released these IDs to the students as they excitedly wear them.

Ms. Daisy B. Pagal, the Teacher-in-Charge, mentioned three simple rules for the ID.

She emphasized on wearing the ID properly at all times when inside the school campus and to never tamper the ID details and the photos.
