Itab IS conducted SLAC session focusing on the ff:
1.Memorandum on the Responsible Use of Social Media by All DepEd Personnel
2.DepEd Order No. 14, s. 2026
3. Code of Ethics for Professional Teachers.

The topics were presented by Sir Hockmar Batuna and Ma’am Janice Olanio, who facilitated the discussions and provided relevant insights to strengthen the teachers’ understanding of the policies and ethical standards governing the teaching profession.

The session provided an avenue for teachers to raise questions, share insights, and seek clarification regarding the proper application of the policies. Clarifications and concerns raised by the participants were addressed by the School Head, Mr. Victoriano B. Gumman, who provided guidance based on existing DepEd policies and professional standards.

The discussion emphasized the importance of professionalism, integrity, accountability, respect, confidentiality, and responsible conduct, both in the workplace and on social media platforms. It also highlighted the responsibility of every teacher to uphold the dignity of the teaching profession and ensure that their actions and online engagements remain consistent with DepEd policies and the Code of Ethics for Professional Teachers.

The SLAC session strengthened the teachers’ awareness of their professional responsibilities and encouraged them to apply these policies and ethical principles in their daily practice for the welfare of learners and the school community.

Itab Integrated School conducted a Learning Action Cell (LAC) session on the ILAW Framework, as introduced under DepEd Order No. 016, s. 2026, which outlines the updated Guidelines on Lesson Planning and Learning Design. The session provided teachers with an opportunity to strengthen their understanding of the framework, share implementation experiences, and discuss effective practices in lesson planning. As the ILAW Framework is already being implemented, the LAC served as a venue for continuous professional learning, collaboration, and reflection to further enhance teaching and learning.

Our heartfelt gratitude to BM Hon. Gaspar B. Chilagan Jr. for lending his backhoe and to Vice Governor Hon. Martin Habawel and BLGU-Itab for providing the fuel used in the ground leveling in preparation for the construction of the new 3-storey,9-classroom building at Itab Integrated School-Main.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to our Barangay Officials, headed by Barangay Captain Hon. Jimmy Bil-agon, for taking the initiative to coordinate and facilitate the necessary transactions with their respective offices.

The first day of ground leveling was witnessed by Victoriano B. Gumman, School Head; Board Member Hon. Gaspar B. Chilagan Jr.; Barangay Officials Hon. Efren May-ag and Hon. Danilo Martin; the faculty and staff; and PTA officials, whose presence reflected the community’s shared commitment to the development of the school.

Itab Integrated School extends its deepest gratitude to the Provincial Local Government Unit of Ifugao thru the strong Leadership of Hon. Jerry U. Dalipog, Provincial Governor, for providing the hauling services that transported construction lumber from Lagawe, Ifugao to Napo, Itab, Aguinaldo, Ifugao.

Our profound appreciation also goes to the Barangay Local Government Unit of Itab, headed by Barangay Captain Hon. Jimmy Bil-agon, for their tireless efforts, physical labor, and unwavering commitment in hauling and unloading the construction materials. We also thank the BLGU officials for coordinating the availability of the two dump trucks used during the hauling operation. Our sincere gratitude is likewise extended to all the barangay officials, parents, and teachers who generously shared their time, strength, and dedication to make this activity a success.

We are likewise grateful to Board Member Hon. Gaspar B. Chilagan Jr. for the accommodation and meals provided to the hauling team throughout the activity. Your generosity and hospitality were truly appreciated.Also this undertaking became possible through the coordination and initiative of Board Member Hon. Gaspar B. We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to SDO-Ifugao, through our OIC-Schools Division Superintendent, Virginia C. Amogan-Batan CESO VI, for approving the allocation of these construction materials to Itab Integrated School for the construction of three makeshift classrooms that will cater to our Kindergarten to Grade 3 learners at Napo,Itab, Aguinaldo, Ifugao.

Our sincere gratitude also goes to Engr. Roderick Dawin Dominong of SDO-Ifugao, who is in charge of these materials, for his invaluable assistance in coordinating and facilitating their transfer to our school.

Sir Vic-SH,conducted a demonstration on effective strategies in teaching MAPEH for both elementary and secondary teachers, particularly those handling the subject outside their field of specialization. The activity showcased practical, learner-centered teaching approaches that can be readily applied in the classroom to enhance learner engagement and improve instructional delivery.

The demonstration was followed by a technical assistance session focusing on content enhancement, lesson planning, classroom assessment, and instructional best practices. Through continuous coaching and mentoring, the school remains committed to strengthening teachers’ competencies and promoting quality, learner-centered education.

Empowering teachers through continuous learning leads to better learning outcomes for every learner.
