A Legacy of Leadership: Turnover Ceremony at ANHSE

Aguinaldo National High School Extension held the Turnover Ceremony of Sir Victoriano B. Gumman, on January 27, 2026, such was a moment of reflection, gratitude, and transition for the entire school community.

From humble beginnings, the school steadily grew under his leadership . His journey in public service is marked by commitment, perseverance, and a genuine dedication to education. He began as a teacher at Aguinaldo National High School – Main from July 2017 to July 2022, shaping young minds and honing his leadership skills. In August 2022, he accepted the role of Teacher-In-Charge of ANHSE, guiding the school through its formative years until July 2024. His dedication was recognized with his appointment as Head Teacher II in August 2024 and later as Head Teacher III in August 2025.

The growth of ANHSE was not achieved alone. It was the result of the combined efforts of teachers, stakeholders, parents headed by PTA-President Nestor Litana , and the BLGU-Awayan headed by Brgy. Captain Tony S. Chi-at, as well as the invaluable support of former Municipal Mayor and now Board Member Hon. Gaspar B. Chilagan Jr., whose partnership greatly contributed to the school’s development. Together, they faced challenges, shared sacrifices, and celebrated milestones that shaped ANHSE into the school it is today.

As we honor this chapter, we express our heartfelt gratitude to Sir Victoriano B. Gumman for his vision, guidance, and selfless service, which have left a lasting impact on the school and its community.

We also warmly welcome Sir Ariston L. Alindayo as the new School Head. May his leadership continue the legacy of growth, excellence, and dedication that ANHSE proudly upholds.

Sprint to Victory: ANHSE Shines at Provincial Meet!

Jess Hedchogan of Aguinaldo National High School Extension (ANHSE) made history as the first athlete from the school to clinch a gold medal at the provincial athletic meet and secure third place in the 4×1 meter relay with his team, held from January 28 to 30, 2026, in Kiangan, Ifugao.

Hedchogan delivered a stellar performance in the 400-meter running event, outpacing competitors from across the province with remarkable speed and endurance. This victory earned him the top spot on the podium and brought pride and recognition to ANHSE.

His dedication and hard work leading up to the competition truly paid off. This achievement is expected to inspire more students from ANHSE to participate in competitive sports and strive for excellence.

With this gold medal, he has firmly established himself as one of the province’s rising stars in track and field events, and the school community celebrates his remarkable accomplishment.

We would like to express our sincerest appreciation to Aguinaldo Pomhochan Multipurpose Cooperative(AMPC) Aguinaldo, Ifugao, for the donation and delivery of roofing materials amounting to Eighteen thousand Sixty-six pesos ( ₱18,066.00)
for the ongoing Classroom Extension Project that started last November 2025.

We also acknowledge the support of the Cooperative’s Manager, Mr. Jun Hawihao, for helping ensure the smooth delivery of the materials.

We would like to thank MLGU for the hauling of materials.

This project is being implemented through the collective efforts with School Parent-Teacher Association headed by PTA-President Mr. Nestor P. Litana, with the strong support of our valued stakeholders.

LOOK | BEFORE AND AFTER PROJECT UPDATE

We extend our sincere gratitude to our Regional Director, Estella P. Leon-Cariño, CESO III, for the generous donation of materials for the school ceiling. This support, amounting to ₱121,000, significantly improved the classroom environment, making it safer and more conducive to learning.

The successful implementation of this project was made possible through the guidance and coordination of our OIC-Schools Division Superintendent, Virginia-Amogan Batan, CESO VI, whose commitment ensured its smooth ex*****on. We also express our appreciation to our School Head, Victoriano B. Gumman, for his dedicated leadership and close supervision from planning to completion.

The project addressed the need to improve the classroom ceiling to enhance safety and comfort. Under proper supervision, the donated materials were installed with quality workmanship, transforming the classroom into a cleaner and more conducive space for learning.
