Ang DepEd, bilang pangunahing tagapagsulong ng edukasyon sa bansa ay patuloy sa pagsusulong ng mga programa at oportunidad na kumikilala at nagpapaunlad sa kakayahan ng bawat mag-aaral, anuman ang kasarian nito.

Earthquake Safety Reminder for School

Prepare a school earthquake evacuation plan. Conduct school earthquake drills regularly. When a strong shaking starts protect yourself by staying away from falling objects such as pieces of broken glass windows, ceiling fans, etc. Get under a sturdy table/desk and do the “Duck, Cover, and Hold’ stay put until the shaking stops.

As soon as the shaking stops leave the classroom immediately.
- Walk
- Do not run
- Do not push
- Do not talk
- Get out of the building in an orderly manner
- Proceed to the identified evacuation area
