In view of the forecasted 40°C heat index for TOMORROW, classes at all levels for both public and private schools in Himamaylan City are hereby SUSPENDED.

Based on the latest advisory from DOST-PAGASA relayed by the Negros Occidental PDRRMO, this temperature still falls under the Extreme Caution category, where prolonged exposure to heat may cause heat exhaustion or heat stroke.

We are implementing this measure to continue prioritizing the health and safety of our students, teachers, and school personnel.

📣✨ RTTNHS – Suay Extension SSLG Grand Campaign Rally ✨📣

The RTTNHS – Suay Extension successfully conducted the SSLG Grand Campaign Rally as part of the preparations for the SSLG Election held last February 12, 2026. This activity provided an opportunity for aspiring student leaders to present their platforms, visions, and commitments to serve the student body.

The event was filled with enthusiasm, creativity, and school spirit as candidates showcased their leadership qualities and inspired their fellow learners to participate in the democratic process. Through this activity, students were encouraged to value responsible voting, leadership, and active participation in school governance.

Indeed, the rally served as an important step in preparing the school community for a fair, transparent, and meaningful SSLG election, empowering students to choose leaders who will represent their voice and aspirations. 🗳️🌟

Raymundo T. Tongson National High School – Suay Extension successfully conducted its 3rd Quarter Portfolio and Card Distribution Day, marking an important milestone in monitoring learners’ academic progress and overall development.

The activity provided parents and guardians the opportunity to review students’ performance, outputs, and achievements for the quarter, while strengthening collaboration between home and school. Through the portfolios, learners’ growth, efforts, and areas for improvement were clearly showcased—reinforcing the value of continuous assessment and parental involvement in education.

This meaningful event also served as a venue for open communication between teachers and parents, ensuring that learners receive the guidance and support they need to succeed both academically and personally.
