Ang Kainang Pamilyang Pilipino Day ay isang makabuluhang pagdiriwang na naglalayong palakasin ang ugnayan ng bawat pamilya sa pamamagitan ng sabayang pagkain at pagbabahagi ng oras. Sa araw na ito, binibigyang-diin ang kahalagahan ng pagsasalo ng pagkain bilang simbolo ng pagkakaisa, pagmamahalan, at paggalang sa kulturang Pilipino. Karaniwang tampok ang mga tradisyonal na lutuing Pilipino na inihahanda sa hapag, na nagsisilbing tulay upang muling mapalapit ang bawat miyembro ng pamilya. Higit pa rito, ang araw na ito ay paalala na sa gitna ng abala at modernong pamumuhay, mahalaga pa ring bigyang-oras ang pamilya bilang pundasyon ng lipunan.
