PARENTS AS PARTNERS: PROJECT KAUPOD IS BORN
The Homeroom PTA Presidents, led by the School PTA Board of Directors, convened today, July 31, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the OCA Garin Hall for a meaningful conference focused on the welfare of our learners.
The discussion centered on pressing concerns involving learner safety and security, mental health and well-being, and learner behavior and discipline. More importantly, our parent leaders and the school explored practical solutions and stronger home-school partnerships to address these concerns.
From this shared commitment, Project KAUPOD was born.
KAUPOD stands for Kaagapay sa Aktibong Ugnayan: Parents On Duty, an SPTA initiative designed to strengthen parent involvement in supporting a safe, secure, caring, and motivating learning environment for every learner.
The SPTA Board of Directors also sought the support of Homeroom PTA Presidents as Guimbal prepares to host the upcoming First Congressional District Sports Association (FCDSA) Meet 2026. Our parents once again expressed their readiness to work alongside the school in welcoming our athletes, coaches, officials, and guests.
Our sincere appreciation goes to SPTA President Rodolfo Talisay Jr. for his leadership and to the entire SPTA Board of Directors and Homeroom PTA Presidents for their active participation.
