Yesterday, September 11, 2025 at exactly 4 pm, our school conducted an Earthquake Drill as part of our preparedness program. The alarm was sounded, signalling the start of the activity. Learners and teachers immediately performed the "Duck, Cover and Hold" procedures inside their classrooms. After the shaking simulation, everyone calmly evaluated the building and proceeded to the designated evacuation area while following the guidance of their teachers.
Upon reaching the open ground, class advisers check the attendance of their learners to ensure safety and order. The drill was successfully carried out in a disciplined and organized manner, demonstrating the school's commitment to disasters preparedness.
Through this activity, learners and school personnel became more aware of the steps to take during an actual earthquake. It also strengthened our readiness, discipline, and cooperation in times of emergencies.
