πŸ“’OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

In accordance with DepEd Order No. 14, s. 2026 on the implementation of learning continuity during weather disturbances, and in response to the Heavy Rainfall Warning issued by DOST-PAGASA associated with Tropical Storm KIYAPO, Sabang Elementary School will SHIFT TO "HINTO" effective immediately.

Under HINTO, all face-to-face classes and school-based activities are suspended to safeguard the health, safety, and well-being of our learners, teaching personnel, and school staff.

πŸ“Œ Parents and Guardians are advised to:
🏠 Keep learners indoors and away from flood-prone areas, rivers, and coastlines.
πŸ“’ Continue monitoring official advisories from DOST-PAGASA, the Local Government Unit (LGU), and the Department of Education (DepEd).
πŸ“± Wait for further announcements regarding the resumption of classes and any alternative learning arrangements.

Pursuant to the Executive Order issued by Governor Ma. Lucille L. Nava, MD, classes in π—”π—Ÿπ—Ÿ π—Ÿπ—˜π—©π—˜π—Ÿπ—¦ in both π—£π—¨π—•π—Ÿπ—œπ—– and 𝗣π—₯π—œπ—©π—”π—§π—˜ schools throughout the Province of Guimaras are hereby π—–π—”π—‘π—–π—˜π—Ÿπ—Ÿπ—˜π—— effective immediately upon the posting of this advisory today, July 10, 2026.

The suspension of classes is in response to the inclement weather conditions brought about by Typhoon Inday, which continues to bring moderate to heavy rains and poses risks of flooding, flash floods, landslides, and other weather-related hazards.

This measure is implemented to ensure the safety and welfare of all learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel, and the general public.

The Provincial Government of Guimaras encourages everyone to remain vigilant, avoid unnecessary travel, and continue monitoring official advisories from the Provincial Government and other concerned government agencies for weather updates and further announcements.

(JULY 10, 2026) 🚨
​Per the directive of the Governor and the PDRRM Council, in-person classes are SUSPENDED at ALL LEVELS (both Public and Private) today, July 10, 2026.
​In compliance with DepEd Order No. 14, s. 2026, schools will automatically shift to HINAY (Ease-In) Mode:
β€‹βŒ No face-to-face classes.
β€‹πŸ  Shift to modular/flexible learning (self-paced learning at home to reduce pressure on families during emergencies).
