: Binigyang-diin ni Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines and Secretary of Education Sara Z. Duterte sa Day 1 ng Language and Inclusion Summit ang kahalagahan ng ALS Program sa pagbibigay ng oportunidad para sa mga out-of-school youth and adult learners na ma-develop ang kanilang basic at functional literacy at makapagtapos ng basic education.

Sa ALS Program, ang mga out-of-school youth at adult learners ay maaaring magpatuloy ng kanilang edukasyon sa paraan, oras, at lugar na akma sa kanilang mga preferences at sitwasyon. Binigyang-diin ito ni Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines and Secretary of Education Sara Z. Duterte sa Day 1 ng Language and Inclusion Summit.

: Ngayong October 2022, nadagdagan pa ang Regions at Divisions na naghahatid ng ALS Senior High School (ALS SHS) para sa out-of-school youth and adults (OSYA) sa buong Pilipinas.

Ayon sa pinakahuling tala ng Bureau of Alternative Education (BAE), 27 Divisions sa apat na Regions sa Mindanao ang nagpapatupad na ng ALS SHS.
