Building a Culture of Care and Resilience ❤️

In response to the recent earthquake incident, Don Aurelio Chicote Elementary School conducted a Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) and Psychological First Aid (PFA) training with a Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) session on October 21, 2025.

The activity aimed to equip teachers and school staff with the knowledge and skills to provide immediate emotional and psychological support to learners and colleagues affected by crisis situations.

The training was facilitated by Joan P. Vidal, School Guidance Coordinator, with the support of the School Head, Mr. Godofredo G. Avila Jr. Teachers and the Administrative Office staff actively participated in this meaningful initiative.

Through this effort, the school reaffirms its commitment to promoting mental health awareness, preparedness, and resilience within the school community.
