The BS Math Extension Program successfully conducted the Statistical Software and Analysis Seminar for Senior High School students last March 12, 2026.

The seminar aimed to enhance the data literacy and research capabilities of participating students by introducing fundamental statistical concepts and applying them in industry-relevant software like JAMOVI. Participants attended lecture sessions on descriptive statistics and basic inferential statistics, equipping them with practical skills for their academic research and future studies.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the resource speakers, Sir Tom Arkhel Palma and Ma’am Yumi Vivien De Luna, as well as the BS Math faculty who facilitated the sessions, to the adviser of the culminating activity Ma’am Rebecca Garde, and to all Senior High School participants for their active engagement and commitment to learning.

The BS Math Extension Program remains dedicated to providing opportunities that bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application.
