A successful Training Workshop for School Advisers on the Enhancement of Campus Journalism was held at Giporlos Central School on August 1โ€“2, 2026.

The two-day workshop provided valuable learning experiences, practical strategies, and updated insights to equip school paper advisers in nurturing young journalists and promoting excellence in campus journalism.

Our sincere appreciation to Dr. Giovanni S. Conde, Principal I of Coticot Elementary School and District Journalism Coordinator, for organizing and facilitating this meaningful and inspiring training.

Strengthening literacy instruction, one step at a time!

The Re-Echo on the Effective Utilization of the English Reading Kit 1 (ERK 1) Package was successfully facilitated by Maโ€™am Boniza G. Creer, Master Teacher - I of Giporlos Central School, at the GNTS Function Hall.

The activity was actively participated in by Grade 1 to Grade 3 teachers, equipping them with enhanced knowledge and practical strategies for the effective use of the ERK 1 package in improving learners' reading skills and fostering a stronger culture of literacy in the classroom.

Together, we continue to empower teachers and inspire young readers toward academic success.

๐ŸŽ‰ 2026 Giporlos District Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off Ceremony ๐ŸŽ‰

The Giporlos District proudly celebrates the successful conduct of the 2026 Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off Ceremony, graciously hosted by B**a Elementary School in partnership with the Barangay Local Government Unit of Brgy. B**a. This meaningful event showcased the unwavering commitment and collective efforts of our education stakeholders in the Municipality of Giporlos, Eastern Samar.

One of the highlights of the program was the turnover of Brigada Eskwela materials to all schools in the district, received by the respective school heads and generously sponsored by our Municipal Officials, Hon. Gilbert I. Go, Municipal Mayor, and Hon. Christopher I. Go, Municipal Vice Mayor.

The success of this district-wide activity was made possible through the guidance and leadership of Sir Carlos C. Macabocsit, District In-Charge, and the dedicated coordination of Sir Juanito Figueroa, District Brigada Eskwela/Adopt-a-School Program (BE/ASP) Coordinator. Their commitment and support were instrumental in ensuring the smooth implementation of the program.
