February 23, 2025 โ Santiago Integrated National High School marked a memorable Family Day celebration with a series of fun and engaging activities that brought students, parents, and teachers together.
The school hosted a range of events designed to strengthen family bonds while fostering a sense of community.
The day kicked off with a Zumba exercise led by the selected teachers from MAPEH Department, followed by a special assembly, where the guest speaker โ Mr. Alexander C. Del Rosario, AO III of the City Social Welfare and Development, shared his expertise on family management through sharing heartwarming stories about his families. Afterward, families were invited to participate in various games. A highlight of the day was the "Family Got Talent," where parents and children showcased their talents, from singing and dancing to playing of musical instrument.
"We wanted to create an opportunity for families to connect outside the classroom and have some fun together," said Dr. Cecilia C. Papa, the Principal III as she highlights the importance of celebrating the strong relationships that help the learners thrive.
The event concluded with sharing of foods, where families enjoyed lunch, relaxed, and bonded over games and activities. Overall, the SINHSโ Family Day was a resounding success, reinforcing the importance of family in students' lives and fostering a sense of unity within the school community.
