Last April 10, 2026, our SPED Class and Playgroup learners had an exciting and meaningful mini educational trip to the Strike Fire and Rescue Village!

Our students were given the opportunity to explore the world of our modern-day heroes—firefighters. They learned important safety tips, saw real rescue equipment up close, and experienced interactive activities that helped build their confidence and awareness in emergency situations.

A big thank you to the staff of Strike Fire and Rescue Village for warmly welcoming us and making this experience both safe and unforgettable.

We are opening our School Readiness program to support your child’s learning journey!

Our tutorial sessions are designed to:

Exceptional Learning Center is now accepting students for our SPED Adolescence Class, focused on strengthening independence, life skills, and community readiness.

Age group: 11–18 years old
Class Size : 5-7 learners max, 2 teachers, supervised by occupational therapist
With Individualized Educational Program (IEP)

PROGRAM GOALS

At ELC, we don’t just teach — we prepare learners for meaningful participation including with inclusive education.

• Majority of our neurodiverse learners from Playgroup successfully transitioned to inclusive schools.
• Our SPED students are regularly endorsed by developmental pediatricians for inclusive education placement.
• We are currently supporting 43 students enrolled in inclusive schools — not only in our affiliate school, but across multiple institutions.

We collaborate closely with families and teachers to ensure each learner receives structured and evidence-based support.

The following positions are open:

Two Main SPED Teachers
• at least 1 year SPED teaching experience
• knows how to write and implement IEPs
• responsible for weekly lesson planning
Privilege: may handle one-on-one sessions after class and Saturdays, ₱500 per hour

Two SPED Assistant Teachers
• graduate of SPED (licensed or non-licensed)
• fresh graduates welcome
• will shoulder the class when main teacher is absent

Assistant Admin
can handle social media management (postings, video editing, responding to inquiries)
Atleast Senior High Graduate
Will manage inventory (resources, materials, etc..)

Nursery and Pre-K class

We warmly welcome children with diverse needs (ASD, GDD, speech-language delays, sensory processing differences, and more). Every child deserves a place to grow, be seen, and be understood.

Our playgroup is:

• Supervised/overseen by Occupational Therapists

We also use standardized tools from the U.S. to guide age-appropriate activities and developmental expectations, ensuring that what we do is aligned with best practice and milestones.

We work on:

For our Pre-K class, the latter half of the year focuses on school readiness — preparing children for the classroom setting with structure, work behaviors, and pre-academic foundations.
