ASEAN SEMINAR 2026 | HIGHLIGHTS

Today, August 17, 2026, the BSTM students of Pacific Southbay College, Inc. gathered for the ASEAN Seminar 2026, centered on the theme, “Empowering Tomorrow’s Tourism Leaders: Promoting ASEAN Identity and Regional Integration.”

The seminar featured Ma'am Vienna Q. Borro as the resource speaker, who shared valuable knowledge, experience and insights about ASEAN, tourism, regional cooperation, and the role of BSTM students as future tourism professionals.

Also present during the event were Sir Jonathan Bugtong and BSTM Program Head, Ma’am Mary Crish R. Conjurado, together with the BSTM students who actively participated throughout the program.

A meaningful day of learning, connection, and inspiration as we continue to build the next generation of tourism leaders. 🌎✨

🌏 Theme: “Empowering Tomorrow’s Tourism Leaders: Promoting ASEAN Identity and Regional Integration”✨

Get ready, BSTM students! 🌏✨
In preparation for the upcoming ASEAN Seminar 2026 on August 17, 2026, all participants are requested to check their assigned groups and prepare for the activity.

📌 IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
• All participants will be grouped according to an Asia country.
• There will be eleven (11) groups/countries.
• Each group will be assigned an animal sound that they will perform during the activity.
• Please find your name on the list and check your assigned country/group.

Everyone is encouraged to familiarize themselves with their assigned group and prepare your animal sound ahead of time.

BSTM OFFICERS AT ASEAN MONTH 2026 OPENING CEREMONY ✨🌏

Today, August 4, 2026, the BSTM Officers, together with Sir Jonathan Bugtong, proudly represented Pacific Southbay College Inc. during the ASEAN Month 2026 Opening Ceremony held at the KCC Marbel Events Center, Koronadal City, South Cotabato.

As part of the celebration, the delegation actively participated in the ASEAN Culture and Crafts Workshop, an engaging activity that showcased the rich cultures, traditions, and artistic heritage of the ASEAN member states. The workshop provided a valuable opportunity to gain deeper cultural appreciation while fostering regional understanding and cooperation.

Participation in events like these reflects the commitment of Pacific Southbay College Inc. to promoting cultural awareness, global perspectives, and active student engagement beyond the classroom.

🌙 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 | 𝗦𝗨𝗚𝗔𝗞𝗢𝗗/𝗦𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗪 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The evening was filled with fun, good food, and great memories as our 𝗕𝗦𝗧𝗠 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 came together for the 𝑺𝒖𝒈𝒂𝒌𝒐𝒅/𝑺𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝑨𝒄𝒒𝒖𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒚.

Everyone looked amazing in their Coachella-inspired outfits, showing off their creativity and style while following the theme. The night became even more special as we shared a delicious dinner, enjoyed the live band performances, and ended the celebration by dancing the night away at the disco party.

Thank you to every BSTM Tourism student for making the night full of smiles, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Here's to more memories together! ✨

Our 𝗕𝗦𝗧𝗠 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 started the day with smiles, energy, and teamwork during the morning activities of 𝑺𝒖𝒈𝒂𝒌𝒐𝒅/𝑺𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

Everyone enjoyed the fun Zumba session and gave their best in the exciting Amazing Race. It wasn't just about winning, it was about working together, cheering for one another, and making great memories.

Thank you to all the BSTM Tourism students who joined and participated. Your energy and teamwork made the event more fun and unforgettable! ✨

A successful and informative 𝗕𝗦 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 was held on 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗯𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗰. The orientation provided students with a comprehensive overview of the program, including its policies, academic requirements, and upcoming activities for the academic year.

The orientation was led by our Program Head, 𝗠𝗮'𝗮𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗷𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗼, together with 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝗴𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗴, whose guidance and insights helped prepare our students for a productive and successful academic journey.
