The official Campaign Period is set to begin on March 23, 2026, giving our aspiring student leaders the opportunity to present their visions, platforms, and advocacies to the student body of Mindanao Polytechnic College.

𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲:
• March 23 – Final Day of Filing of Candidacy
• March 24 to March 30 – Start of Campaign Period (Room-to-Room Campaigns per Program Schedule)

𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦' 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗨𝗠 '𝟐𝟓 | Tapatang Tanungan with the SSC Candidates

𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗢𝗡𝗚: SSC acts as the bridge between students and the school administration. How will you make sure that you do not become the administration’s mouthpiece, but instead serve as the voice of the students?

After the candidates completed their introductions and platform presentations, all running parties from various departments and organizations answered several questions gathered by the publication from the MPC community. This segment allowed candidates to directly address community concerns and demonstrate their awareness and preparedness.
The first presenter was given 2 minutes to prepare for the question and another 2 minutes to give their statement. After that, the second presenter answered the question immediately after the first presenter finished their statement. They were also given 2 minutes to respond. The sequence was determined by drawing lots.
The recently conducted student survey was also used as a reference, as it highlighted relevant concerns regarding college and local issues.

MPCians, kayo ang bida sa darating na Halalan. Binibigyang boses ang lahat ng MPCians upang maiparating ang mga katanungan sa mga kandidatong nais maging lider-estudyante ng institusyon.

Ito ang tanggapan ng mga boses ng mga mag-aaral ng MPC: The Porthole, The Official Student Publication of Mindanao Polytechnic College.

Ang mga katanungan ay maaring tungkol sa mga isyung kinakaharap ng mga estudyante sa loob at labas ng institusyon, o 'di naman kaya'y tungkol sa mga plataporma at konkretong plano ng mga kandidato.

𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗 || Due to the cancellation of the Miting de Avance 2025, a replacement activity titled Candidates' Forum has been scheduled on May 7, 2025, at 9:00 AM. The event will be held at the AVR Room, Susana Building. Attendance to this forum is mandatory for all 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬. The forum is planned to be livestreamed so that MPCians can still watch and engage with the candidates' presentations and platforms remotely.

Note: Only the running candidates are required to attend the said forum.

From today until May 6, you will hear the promises and planned projects from the
aspiring leaders of all parties to persuade you and prove themselves worthy of your votes.

With the beginning of the campaign period of the candidates, there are guidelines to be followed. Guidelines that shall control the advertising of candidates, and aim to achieve an organized and fair campaign period for everyone. Note that failure to comply with the procedures would have reasonable sanctions and be subject to disqualification by the OSAS and COMELEC.
