The Junior Aquaculturists’ Society (JAS) is officially calling on all artists, dreamers, and designers for the Department Shirt Layout Competition for Academic Year 2026–2027! This competition is 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡 𝗧𝗢 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬𝗢𝗡𝗘—even those outside the department! Here is your chance to craft the iconic look our entire department will wear with pride.

Whether you're a master illustrator, a digital wizard, or someone with a bold concept waiting to come to life, this is your sign to flex those design skills! Leave your mark on the department and let your creative waves make a real splash. 🌊✨

1. Student Certificate of Recognition
•(COR) for the A.Y. 2026-2027
•Screen shot of the COR from the portal are accepted

2. School ID and 2x2 picture of the applicant

3. Latest JAS receipt
•For the first semester A.Y. 2026-2027
•If lost just reupload the COR, as we will check our database if you have paid the JAS fee

GillScholar: Financial Assistance for Aquaculture Students grantees will be part of the Junior Aquaculturist’s Society Organization working committee tasked with helping the council by rendering 𝟐 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 from September 2026 to December 2026 of the first semester. Unifying the entire College of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (CFAS) community, the Junior Aquaculturists’ Society (JAS) formally steered in the new academic year with a high-energy, Scooby-Doo-themed Grand Opening Salvo yesterday, August 10, 2026, at the college grounds.

Extending the warmest 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘦-𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 to our incoming freshmen and 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘦-𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 back our upperclassmen, the event set the stage for a year anchored in collective discovery, academic growth, and unshakeable pride. Inspired by the spirit of teamwork, this kickoff serves as a reminder that no mystery is too complex when faced together.
