Sometimes, as parents, we hear “I can’t do it.” more often than we’d like. ❤️
And honestly, it can be hard to know when to step in, when to help, or when to simply let them try again. We want to make things easier for our children—but sometimes, giving them the space to make mistakes, experiment, and figure things out on their own is exactly what they need.
🎨 Creative activities can be a small but meaningful way to build this mindset.
Through art, children learn that mistakes can be changed, ideas can be tried again, and difficult things don’t always have to be abandoned.
Over time, these little moments of “Let me try again” can extend beyond the artwork—into schoolwork, friendships, everyday challenges, and how they handle frustration.
Maybe the goal isn’t to raise children who never give up.
Maybe it’s to help them learn that it’s okay to struggle, try again, and discover that they can do more than they first thought. 🌱
Parents, do you also hear “I can’t do it” from your little ones? What do you usually do when they feel like giving up?
