Where Learning Feels Like Home
It is made of four walls, filled with books, pencils, chalk, and blackboards. It is a room meant for learning, yet we never thought it could feel like home because of their presence.
Teachers are considered our "second parents." They are the ones who engineer our lessons, making sure we learn something useful and meaningful. Their profession is the mother of all professionsโthe noblest of all. They hone the youth, molding them into good members of society.
We often hear their advice and their stories, knowing our second parents only want the best for us. Being a teacher is never easy, yet they continue to serve with compassion and love.
As we celebrate Teachers' Month, let us honor our second mothers and fathersโtheir hardships, their sleepless nights, and the way they care for us. It might be a simple room with educational materials, but it is a room we will always call home.
