Dear NAAP Applicants,

OFFICIAL ADVISORY: WARNING AGAINST ADMISSION TEST SCAMS

The National Aviation Academy of the Philippines (NAAP) issues this urgent advisory following reports of fraudulent messages offering guaranteed passing, wait-list priority, or assured admission slots in exchange for money. These are scams.

HISTORIC MILESTONE! ✈️🇵🇭

From PD 1078 (1977) to RA 7605 (1992), President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. signed on 5 September 2025 Republic Act 12255 (2025) declaring the Philippine State College of Aeronautics as the NATIONAL PROFESSIONAL INSTITUTION FOR AVIATION, renaming it as the National Aviation Academy of the Philippines (NAAP)!

MARAMING SALAMAT PO!

🛫 President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. for continuing the legacy of the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. 🙏

To our champions —
🛫 Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano & NAAP Senate sponsors
🛫 Cong. Mark O. Go & Cong. Ron P. Salo with the House sponsors
🛫 CHED leaders Chair Shirley Agrupis, former Chair Popoy De Vera, Commissioner Canapi, & the PhilSCA Board of Trustees
🛫 CAAP partners led by Director General Raul Del Rosario
🛫 The entire PhilSCA community who believed in NAAP from the start.

IS THERE A DUTY TO STUDY WELL?

Yes. While it is true that an institution of learning has a contractual obligation to afford its students a fair opportunity to complete the course they seek to pursue, since a contract creates reciprocal rights and obligations, the obligation of the school to educate a student would imply a corresponding obligation on the part of the student to study and obey the rules and regulations of the school. When a student commits a serious breach of discipline or fails to maintain the required academic standard, he forfeits his contractual right. Thus, educational institutions are afforded ample discretion to formulate reasonable rules and regulations in the admission of students, including the setting of academic standards. Within the parameters thereof, they are competent to determine who is entitled to admission and re-admission.
