De La Salle University is ranked among the top HEIs in the 2026 Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Rankings, placing in the 601-800 bracket.
THEโs Asia University Rankings use the same research-intensive indicators in their global table, but recalibrated to reflect the priorities of HEIs in the region. These areas are: Teaching (the learning environment), Research environment (volume, income and reputation), Research quality (citation impact, research strength, research excellence and research influence), International outlook (staff, students and research), and Industry (income and patents).
In his message, Vice President for Research and Innovation Prof. Raymond Tan said: "Universities can no longer just hand down to their students skill sets that may soon become irrelevant in future job markets shaped by fast-changing technologies. Internationally competitive institutions like DLSU have innovation in our DNA. This allows us to better prepare our students for the future by immersing them in research, giving them firsthand experience in the very process of knowledge creation."
The 2026 edition of the rankings includes 1,405 HEIs that met the criteria.

Learning to Serve, Serving to Learn
A meaningful journey went full circle when our education students presented their Service-Learning Project Milestone Report on April 6, 2026, in the Andrew Building of DLSU.
This culminating activity showcased the collaborative work of the BECED and BSED students with our valued community partners. The different presentations highlighted the project goals and the community needs addressed, the strategies and activities implemented in the field, and the reflections on challenges, growth, and insights gained from their service-learning journey.
After the students shared their work and turned over the physical and digital materials they created, the community partners responded with feedback and appreciation. This activity celebrated learning in action, where theory meets real-world impact.
Thank you to all our community partners for your trust and collaboration, to COSCA and all experts consulted by the students for your kind support and guidance.

Learning to Serve, Serving to Learn
As part of their service-learning implementation, last March 26, 2026, the BSED Mathematics preservice teachers conducted a workshop for the mathematics teachers of Florentino Torres High School.
Aimed at providing an understanding of the Concrete Pictorial Abstract Approach, the workshop was facilitated to demonstrate its application in algebra-related lessons, using well-thought-out pedagogical strategies and well-designed manipulative materials.
This endeavor is worthwhile because it bridges theory and practice in meaningful ways, making math learning more authentic and engaging.
