Continuous growth for transformative education! 🌟

Faculty members from the Department of Educational Leadership and Management (DELM) participated in the Service-Learning Faculty Training 2026: Faculty Strategies and Methods in Facilitating and Deepening Student Reflection in Service-Learning held last August 20–21, 2026 at Balay Indang, Cavite.

Co-hosted by De La Salle University-Manila and the Uniservitate Network, this two-day immersive training equipped our educators with enhanced methodologies to guide students toward deeper critical reflection, community engagement, and meaningful service-learning integration in higher education.

Insights that Shape Better Educational Programs

An enriching series of online "Expert Talks" was conducted for graduate students in early childhood education in the ECH851M course, focusing on "Program Evaluation in Educational Settings."

The sessions provided students with valuable insights into the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of educational programs that utilize evidence-based approaches to improve teaching practice and learner experiences, especially for challenging educational contexts.

Thank you to our invited experts- Dr. Jasper Vincent Alontaga, Ms. Abigail Mariano, and Ms. Izzah Caballero. With your support, DELM continues to advance educational excellence by bridging theory to practice.

The Br. Andrew Gonzalez FSC College of Education (BAGCED), together with other colleges of the university, participated in the forum on Generative AI in Research held on July 20, 2026, at the McKinley Microcampus of DLSU.

This event was organized by the Research and Grants Management Office, with the support of the Vice President for Research and Innovation, as part of the launch of DLSU's Research Roadmap 2030.

This event shared DLSU researchers' practice of using Generative AI as a collaborative tool, synergizing Human Intelligence with Artificial Intelligence throughout the entire research lifecycle, from initial conceptualization to final publication. Learning never stops for the teachers of teachers! 💚

The Department of Educational Leadership and Management spent an enriching day collaborating with colleagues across the university. The focus? Enhancing our craft through the Lasallian Pedagogical Framework.

Inspired by the life and charism of our founder, St. John Baptiste De La Salle, we reflected on our practice in light of the Core Pillars of Lasallian Education and our Lasallian Educational Philosophy.

Through meaningful conversations, we shared how our practice aligns with modern, inclusive learning frameworks, similar to the work of St. La Salle, that support principles on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belongingness (DEIB) through the integration of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Whole Person Education (WPE), and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).

Imbued with our core values on Faith, Zeal for Service, and Communion in Mission, we discerned how to navigate the ethical and responsible use of technology and Artificial Intelligence in our teaching as we commit to the Sustainable Development Goals and Laudato Si Goals of the university.

Together and by association, with a shared understanding and spirit of Lasallian education, we embraced our roles as educators and formators to continue teaching minds, touching hearts, and transforming lives.

Here's a look at our faculty coming together to learn, reflect, and live out the Lasallian mission.

Work hard, unwind harder! 💻✨

The DELM team recently traded our laptops for some much-deserved rest and relaxation at Lasema Spa & Jjimjilbang. Our latest workshop and teambuilding was the perfect blend of productivity, bonding, and pure rejuvenation.

Taking the time to recharge together keeps our synergy strong and our spirits high. Ready to tackle our next goals with renewed energy! 💪🌱
