Your love has shaped us into the person we are today, and we know we will spend a lifetime trying to give back even a fraction of what you have given us.

‎The University Student Government of TUP Manila is officially informing the student body that the request to temporarily suspend the mandatory wearing of the official university uniform at our institution in view of the anticipated high heat index conditions have been approved in the effort of University Student Government and in their capacity as the executives of Federation of Student Governments and the Office of Student Regent.
‎
‎Students may wear comfortable and weather-appropriate clothing starting on April 20, 2026, given that it shall still remain aligned with the university’s standards of decency, safety, and professionalism in which will remain in force until further notice or until weather conditions improve.

‎𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:

In light of the upcoming transport strike of 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐀 scheduled on 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟏𝟓–𝟏𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 has formally submitted a request for 𝐀𝐂𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐂 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐘 to the administration. This request seeks to provide due consideration to students who may experience delays or arrive late to their classes as a result of the transportation disruption.

This initiative underscores the council’s commitment to safeguarding student welfare and ensuring that no student is unfairly penalized for circumstances beyond their control.
