Originally focused on classroom instruction in Computer Engineering and Mathematics, his path shifted when he was unexpectedly invited to engage in research work - an opportunity that would later define his career.

At the ALCUCOA National Research Conference 2024, his Seismic Sentinel study introduced an automated real-time earthquake detection system with voice and SMS alerts, strengthening emergency warning systems and campus safety response.

At the international level during the Innovation Congress (ICON) & International Research Conference on Pharmaceutical and Allied Sciences 3.0 in Kuala Lumpur, he presented the expansuccess - Seismic Sentinel Initiative, an AI-driven disaster resilience ecosystem designed for emergency coordination, life safety, and community protection.

Dr. De Leon’s journey proves that with the right opportunities, support, and mindset, even unexpected beginnings can lead to exceptional success.

The Universidad de Manila College of Business Management (CBM), in partnership with the College of Arts and Science - Department of Communication, successfully conducted its Extension Activity entitled"𝙎𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙃𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩: 𝘼 𝙎𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙣 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙪𝙢𝙚/𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙖 𝙊𝙞𝙡 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙗𝙖𝙡 𝙊𝙞𝙡." held, November 26, 2025, at 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝟳𝟵𝟬 𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝟴𝟲 𝗦𝘁𝗮. 𝗔𝗻𝗮, 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮, this skills training was a collaborative effort by all CBM Academic Programs: Economics, Entrepreneurship, Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, and Hospitality Management.
