It's a wrap! Finally, we will bid our freshman year farewell! We completed the last term with tenacity, happiness, and diligence.

May we honor ourselves for the difficult journey we have taken! Even though we had highs and lows, we're still here, slayin'! Let's take it easy because life isn't a race.

The academic year has ended so we would like to sincerely thank and appreciate everyone who was a part of the 𝐎𝐁𝐓𝐄𝐂 𝐈-𝟐𝟑 𝐂𝐀 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 from term 1 to term 3.🫰

It requires a lot of effort and sacrifice to support our classmates' concerns and rights; being an officer is not easy.

Throughout the academic year, certain officers manage to serve their constituents with good, equal, and proper service despite also fulfilling roles as student assistants, working students, student leaders, and student athletes.🫂

I can't help but think back on all the amazing memories we've made together as we approach the end of this chapter. From term one to term three, I will always be grateful of what we shared. Without each other's support, our first year of college would not have been possible.

I am immensely appreciative of the support and laughter we've shared, and our friendship has been a source of joy and strength. Even though our paths may now diverge, I know we'll accomplish great things and leave a lasting impression wherever we go.

May we always remember how each frustration we had as first-year students turned into a victory. May we have the courage to continue even if it's difficult, even if we are incomplete. Let's do it scared and without regrets.

I'm sending out the warmest hugs to everyone, including those who will leave, stop, and continue even if they aren't the person they once imagined themselves to be. Never forget to take your time; achieving our goals is what matters most.🫂

Our relationship will endure despite the distance, and we are all excited to see where life leads us next. Keep in mind, this is not a farewell but rather a "see you later."

What an amazing trip around the sun it’s been for us at OBTEC 1-23! As only a few days are left before we officially bid farewell to our freshman year and wave hello to being sophomores, start a fresh chapter in our undergraduate books, let us take a moment to look at and wish good luck to the multifaceted block of scholars aiming to be of service truthfully and excellently for the fortification of a prime Philippines, especially in the grounds of education, for all.

In the different fields you are soon about to enter, may the power of knowledge and training that has been, so far, vested in each of you by Inang Pamantasan and the wildest of stories and experiences brought by life keep you passionate, determined, and thriving! Two infini-Three and beyond! 🚀

Tunay nga na hindi lang sila basta cute, magagaling din!

OBTEC I-23 emerged victorious in the culminating activity: Arnis Anyo Competition, which took place on July 3, 2024 at PNU-Manila Gymnasium, a week prior. Being crowned champions amongst the eight competing sections made it a truly remarkable victory.🥳

Sincere gratitude is also extended to the entire OBTEC I-23, the props team, the glam team, and the choreographers. We practiced a lot, which contributed to our exhaustion and discomfort. May this yield the fruits of our labor and sacrifice.

We would also like to express our gratitude to Professor Minerva Atanacio for pushing us to enjoy ourselves as much as win. We also thank our second year BPHED major coaches, Teacher Mariel Legaspi, Teacher Alexia Reyes, Teacher Kyla Barron, Teacher Mike Flores, and Teacher John Carl Magbitang, for their unwavering faith in and support of our work.

We would like to express our gratitude to the Institute of Creative Expressions and Human Movement Education (ICEHME) for all of the well-executed capstone events that took place during the 2023–2024 academic year. I appreciate you providing a platform for everyone to showcase their abilities.

We will keep showing people our talents in the upcoming years. Being humble in our hearts is a quality of a champion, so we must maintain it.

On this day, we celebrate the 95th birth anniversary of the the National Artist, Lucrecia Urtula!🥳

Lucrecia Reyes-Urtula was a Filipino dancer, educator, writer, theater director, and ethnodance researcher. In 1988, she received the title of National Artist of the Philippines for dance, and she also served as the founding director of the Bayanihan Philippine National Folk Dance Company.

On this day, we celebrate the 89th birth anniversary of the the National Scientist, Ernesto Domingo!🥳

At the University of the Philippines College of Medicine at UP Manila, Ernesto O. Domingo holds the title of National Scientist of the Philippines and is an emeritus professor. Hepatology and gastroenterology are two of Dr. Domingo's specialities. Establishing a causal connection between chronic hepatitis-B and liver cancer, he also organized the UPM Liver Study Group and conducted significant research on viral hepatitis and liver disease. Because his research identified a preventive strategy for liver cancer, millions of people have been spared life-threatening illness and health care costs have decreased.
