Aside from the Revised National Plumbing Code, there is no prescribed reference book for the Master Plumbing board exam. I really wanted to pass the boards in one take and so I read a lot of books on plumbing.

Along the way I amassed a wealth of information related to plumbing. Like this one:

WHAT DO YOU CALL THAT PORTABLE TOILET THAT IS STILL IN USE TODAY IN AREAS LACKING INDOOR PLUMBING?

ANSWER: CHAMBER POT.

"Ha?"

This was my reaction when I read the answer to the question "What is the longest word in the English language?

I had to believe in the "correctness" of the answer as the test question was prepared by my cousin, Prof. Nelly O. Robin. (Several years after, Dr. Robin became the Campus Administrator of ESSU Can-avid.)

Back to the given answer: Sa loob-loob ko, pwede pala yung ganung test item sa college. Hahaha

My appreciation goes to Ekonomiko D.Bert, atod Primo Acol, Terpe Quebec for gamely answering my question.

And so, what is the longest word in the English language?

Obviously, the answer cannot be found in the internet

SMILES... this is the answer. There is MILE between the 1st letter and last letter.. "Mile" happens to be the longest unit of measurement, longer than a kilometer.

Agree? Or disagree?

One summer vacation in my hometown during college days, I found heaps of paper at the back of our house. Out of curiosity, I looked into some of the papers. Mga test paper pala sa Eastern Samar State University - Can-avid Campus.

Isa sa mga nakaagaw ng aking pansin ay ang isang test question sa English subject.

Ganito ang tanong:

"What is the longest word in the English language?"

Magugulat kayo sa answer. Hahaha

Pero bago ko i-share ang sagot, subukan nyo muna sagutin ang tanong.

"What is the longest word in the English language?"

Ang may tamang sagot, may premyo!
