This goes out to our esteemed society president, 𝗘𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗮. Today we spread our birthday cheers to the glue that holds the core officers together, the loudest guy in the (class)room, and the “responsible uncle” we didn’t know the society needed.

Thank you for your leadership, dedication, and for always carrying the spirit of the society on your shoulders. We’re truly grateful for everything you have done, both seen and unseen.

10 representatives were sent to participate in 𝗫𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁, organized by Ateneo Code at Ateneo de Manila University from March 28–29, 2026.

As the sole organization from the Visayas region participating, our representatives brought their best to the seminar’s forums, modules, and cross-organization engagements, all aimed at sustaining the impact and future of the society’s advocacy.

Our sincere thanks go to the XChange 2026 organizers for the opportunity, and to the facilitators who guided and inspired our representatives every step of the way.

We bid a heartfelt farewell to Silliman University’s 13th President, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗹 𝗠𝗰𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗻, as she steps back from her role and opens a new chapter beyond her years of dedicated service to the University.

Her legacy of commitment, excellence, and advocacy-driven leadership will continue to inspire the Silliman community for generations to come. From being a professor, department chairperson, dean, and Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA), to ultimately serving as University President, her journey stands as a testament to a brilliant and beautiful mind.

The Psychology Society also extends its gratitude to our department chairperson, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝗮𝗻 𝗗. 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗯𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗮, for inviting the Juniors and Seniors to be part of this meaningful occasion.
