FUASN JOINS THE SUMMERLYMPICS 2026 PARADE AND OPENING CEREMONY 🎉🏀 🏐🥒

The Foundation University Association of Student Nurses (FUASN) proudly participated in the Summerlympics 2026 Parade and Opening Ceremony organized by the Dumaguete City Local Youth Development Office on June 5, 2026, at Rizal Boulevard, Dumaguete City.

Together with fellow youth organizations, athletes, and community stakeholders, FUASN joined the celebration of sportsmanship, unity, and youth empowerment as the city officially launched this year's Summerlympics. The event showcased the collective commitment of the youth sector to fostering active participation, healthy lifestyles, and meaningful community engagement.

Through its participation, FUASN continues to support initiatives that promote leadership, volunteerism, and community involvement while strengthening partnerships with local organizations and government agencies.

Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals:

The 𝓕𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓭𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓫 𝓤𝓷𝓲𝓿𝓮𝓻𝓼𝓲𝓽𝔂 𝓐𝓼𝓼𝓸𝓬𝓲𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓫 𝓸𝓯 𝓢𝓽𝓾𝓭𝓮𝓫𝓽 𝓝𝓾𝓻𝓼𝓮𝓼 (FUASN) proudly met with the 𝓛𝓸𝓬𝓪𝓵 𝓨𝓸𝓾𝓽𝓱 𝓓𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓵𝓸𝓹𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓽 𝓞𝓯𝓯𝓲𝓬𝓮 (LYDO), headed by 𝑴𝒓. 𝑻𝒊𝒈𝒊𝒆 𝑱𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝑻𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒍𝒐𝒏, Youth Development Officer of Dumaguete City, and 𝑯𝒐𝒏 𝑬𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒍𝒂𝒐 𝑽. 𝑨𝒍𝒗𝒊𝒐𝒍𝒂, Vice Mayor of Dumaguete City, to discuss future health-related initiatives, community-based programs, and meaningful partnerships that will strengthen public service and healthcare advocacy within the community.

This collaborative effort aims to promote youth empowerment, community wellness, health education, and sustainable development through initiatives aligned with 𝑺𝑫𝑮 #3: 𝒢𝒐𝒐𝒅 ℋ𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒲𝒆𝒍𝒍-ℬ𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 and 𝑺𝑫𝑮 #17: 𝒫𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒢𝒐𝒂𝒍𝒔. Through active cooperation among various sectors and organizations, we strive to create lasting and positive impacts for the people we serve.

As future healthcare professionals and student leaders, we remain committed to advancing service, leadership, and community engagement in pursuit of healthier, more empowered communities.

FUASN SERVES AS MEDICS AT DCABNAO SMASH FOR A CAUSE PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT 2026 🏓

The Foundation University Association of Student Nurses (FUASN) proudly served as Medics during the DCABNAO Smash for a Cause Pickleball Tournament 2026, held on May 31, 2026, at Pulantubig Gym and Balugo Gym, Dumaguete City.

Through the dedication and service of our student nurses, immediate first aid and medical assistance were made readily available to participants and spectators throughout the tournament. This initiative highlights the commitment of FUASN to promoting health, safety, and community engagement while providing meaningful opportunities for future nurses to apply their skills in real-world settings.

By participating in this event, FUASN contributes to the achievement of the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
