We, in collaboration with the SUSG Environment Committee and SUSG Advocacy Committee, celebrated Women's month last March 28 through an intimate event entitled HERth Hour-- Pillars of Dreams: Honoring Mothers in Education. This event invited parents of graduating students as thanksgiving for their relentless effort in supporting their children as they complete a tremendous milestone. HERth Hour also served as a reminder for everyone to be environmentally conscious as we stay committed in taking care of our mother earth 🌍
We extend our gratitude to our participants, performers, and guests for making this event a success. May we all never forget to honor the women in our lives even beyond women's month 🩷💜💐

The Silliman University Student Government introduces the Payong Project☂. A free umbrella-borrowing project helps make communities more accessible and comfortable by ensuring people can stay dry or shaded even if they don’t have an umbrella.
Just present a valid ID and fill out the forms to borrow a free umbrella. Take note of the borrowing and returning guidelines, and let us be protected from both the rain and the sun.

The SUSG Joins the Global Earth Hour!!!
Earth Hour is a global grassroots movement urging individuals, communities, and businesses to turn off non-essential electric lights for one hour—from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. local time—on the last Saturday of March. It acts as a symbolic, annual, 60-minute commitment to protect the planet and combat climate change.
Beyond simply switching off lights, participants are encouraged to use the hour to connect with nature, meditate, or engage in other eco-friendly activities.
