𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲: 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐍𝐄𝐎𝐑𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐎'𝐬 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐇𝐮𝐛 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

Dr. Gregorio Baccay III was re-elected as Chairman of the Board of the Negros Oriental Union of Cooperatives (NEORUNCO), marking his third consecutive year of service leading the Union.

During his tenure, NEORUNCO has strengthened cooperative governance, expanded leadership development programs, and forged stronger partnerships among member cooperatives. One of the landmark initiatives under his leadership is the establishment of the NEORUNCO Academy Building, a long-envisioned project that broke ground during his term and is now nearing completion.

The Academy Building is envisioned to become the Union's premier center for cooperative education and training, serving as a venue for capacity-building programs, leadership development, and knowledge exchange among cooperatives in Negros Oriental and neighboring provinces.

For his new term, Dr. Baccay aims to position NEORUNCO as the leading institution for cooperative education in the region.

"Cooperative education is the cornerstone of a strong and sustainable cooperative movement. Our goal is to build leaders who are competent, values-driven, and responsive to the changing needs of their members and communities," he said.

With the completion of the NEORUNCO Academy Building on the horizon, the Union is poised to expand its educational programs and create more opportunities for learning, innovation, and collaboration. The facility stands as a symbol of NEORUNCO's commitment to empowering cooperatives through education and ensuring that future generations of cooperative leaders are equipped to navigate an increasingly dynamic environment.

As Dr. Baccay embarks on another term, he remains steadfast in his vision: to transform NEORUNCO into a beacon of cooperative excellence where learning inspires leadership and cooperation transforms lives.
