The Tourism and Hospitality Educators of Negros Oriental and Siquijor (THECNOS) is pleased to announce the new Acting Officers of the organization.

These distinguished educators will serve as key leaders in advancing tourism and hospitality education, strengthening partnerships, and promoting professional excellence.

We extend our sincere congratulations and full support to the newly appointed officers as they assume their respective roles and responsibilities.

We would like to formally announce that MR. JOHN REY ALABATA, the former President of THECNOS, has stepped down from his position due to personal reasons. We sincerely respect his decision and acknowledge his contributions during his term of service.

In accordance with the organization’s succession protocol, the Vice President, MR. ARNEL R. TOLEDO, will assume the role of Acting President of THECNOS effective immediately. We trust in his leadership and commitment to continue guiding the organization toward its goals.

We extend our gratitude to our former President for his dedication and service, and we ask for everyone’s full support for our Acting President as he takes on this important responsibility.

The Tourism and Hospitality Educators Council of Negros Oriental and Siquijor extends our heartfelt thanks to Governor Manuel Sagarbarria and to our Provincial Tourism Board Executive Director Woodrow Maquiling for the warm support of this year’s Inter-School Tourism and Hospitality Skills Competition 2024 in celebration of the World Tourism Month.

We also like to thank all the Tourism and Hospitality Schools who participated and congratulations to all the winners of all the different competitions during the Tourism Month Celebration held from September 17 to 22, 2024 at several colleges and universities in Dumaguete City.
