🌊✨ Dive into the heart of Lobo, a coastal gem in the Philippines nestled in the breathtaking region of Batangas. Our free Compass Education systems thinking course unveils the layers of Lobo's narrative, intricately connecting it with powerful systems thinking tools.
The Lagadlarin community reveals the heart and soul of Batangueños—cheerful, hardworking fishermen and farmers committed to protecting the mangrove and beach ecosystem.
This 17-hectare protected area, once a trash deposit, now thrives with over 25 mangrove species, birds, fish, crabs, and more. Support mangrove planting to aid the restoration of this haven for juvenile sea creatures and a tourism sanctuary with a kayak-ready river and white sand beach.
Lobo, while one of Batangas' best-protected areas, lacks awareness about its biodiversity. Join a bioblitz to document species and help conserve the beaches, vital nesting grounds for sea turtles that return annually. Explore the wet woodlands, learn about turtle behavior, and witness the Nov-Feb turtle nesting season.
As tourism grows, so does the need to protect these ancient inhabitants. Discover the secrets of mangroves and beach forests—an ecosystem vital for our lives on land.
