𝗔 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗢𝗻𝗲. Every instructor starts as a student.

Looking back at the first week of our 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, we see more than lectures and in-water sessions—we see future dive leaders embracing the responsibility that comes with teaching others.

Every briefing sharpened knowledge. Every demonstration refined technique. Every evaluation reinforced one principle: 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝘄𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀.

The journey wasn’t about collecting another certification. It was about becoming the kind of instructor every diver deserves.

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁.

Today, we're proud to celebrate a significant milestone for both 𝗔𝗿. 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗼 𝗔𝗹𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗴 and 𝗕𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝘂𝗯𝗮 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹.

After a month of intensive training from 29 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗼 31 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 2026, Rico has successfully completed the requirements to become our 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿.

Behind every instructor certification are weeks of preparation, demonstrations, evaluations, academic sessions, confined water teaching, open water teaching, problem-solving and a commitment to meeting recognized training standards.

Becoming an instructor isn't simply about being an experienced diver. It's about learning how to teach safely, communicate effectively and guide students with confidence while upholding the standards of the training agency.

This achievement reflects Rico's dedication, discipline and willingness to keep learning throughout the process.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗼! We're excited to see the impact you'll make as you help future divers build their confidence, skills and respect for the underwater world.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗯𝗮 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲—𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.

Before you enroll, take a few minutes to ask questions.

✔️ Who will be teaching the course?
✔️ Is the instructor authorised by the same training agency as the certification you'll receive?
✔️ Will a qualified instructor be teaching you throughout the programme?
✔️ How many students are in each class?
✔️ Is the equipment regularly maintained?

These aren't difficult questions—they're sensible ones.

It's also worth knowing that while Divemasters and experienced certified divers are highly skilled and often assist with training, 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆-𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗯𝘆 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲. Day 1 is dedicated to building the knowledge that supports every safe descent—understanding dive theory, equipment, planning, environmental awareness, and sound decision-making.
