CALL FOR APPLICATION FOR TEACHER I POSITIONS FOR SY 2023-2024

The Recruitment and Selection of Teacher I Applicants for Kindergarten, Elementary, Junior and Senior High School for School year 2023-2024 is now open.

The teaching positions are open to all applicants regardless of age, gender, civil status, disability, ethnicity, religion, and political affiliation.

The recruitment, selection and appointment of qualified teachers shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of DepEd Order No. 007, s. 2023 titled Guidelines on Recruitment, Selection, and Appointment in the Department of Education.

DIVISION MEMORANDUM NO. 141, S. 2022 - ADMINISTRATION OF COMPUTER-BASED ENGLISH PROFICIENCY TEST (CB-EPT) FOR TEACHER I APPLICANTS, SY 2022-2023

1. The Department of Education (DepEd) recognizes that the success of any education system greatly relies on the competence of its teachers. Hence, one of the primary issues the Department aims to address through its comprehensive implementation of the K to 12 Basic Education Program is the need for highly competent teachers in public elementary and secondary schools. In compliance to DepEd Order No. 7, s. 2015 or the Hiring Guidelines for Teacher I Positions, the Department requires all aspiring teachers to take the English Proficiency Test administered by the Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA).

2. In view of this, the BEA has issued an Advisory on October 2021 informing all division offices that the EPT shall be administered through Computer-Based (CB) Assessment.

3. In order to facilitate the conduct of CB-EPT for Teacher I Applicants, SY 2022-2023, all applicants who have registered in the link provided by this Office attached in the Division Memorandum No. 112 or the Recruitment and Selection of Teacher I Applicants for School Year 2022-2023 are required to complete the registration requirements using this link bit.ly/SDOBTN_EPT2022 The deadline for the updating of registration is on April 21, 2022.

DIVISION MEMORANDUM NO. 256, S. 2021

PARTIAL REGISTRY OF TEACHER APPLICANTS IN THE
ELEMENTARY, JUNIOR, AND SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
FOR SY 2021-2022

1. This Office announces the release of the partial and unofficial registry of teacher applicants in the Elementary, Junior and Senior High School for SY 2021-2022.

2. Relative to the information and scores contained in the partial registry, applicants are advised to check their initial scores and be more precise on their queries and clarifications which shall be answered and entertained until June 25, 2021 ONLY.

3. All concerns shall be communicated directly through the Google Form link provided below:

4. No personal follow-up shall be entertained at the SDO unless instructed or advised to do so. Likewise, this Office is no longer accepting additional documents obtained after the submission of the applicant’s portfolio in the school.

5. Adjustments of points will not be immediately reflected in the partial registry as changes will be incorporated in the Final RQA to be posted on the 1st week of July 2021.
