DON JOSE ECLEO MEMORIAL COLLEGE ROTC UNIT ||5th Formation
‎
‎The 5th ROTC Formation of the DJEMC-ROTCU was conducted on August 23, 2026, at 1300H at the DJEMC School Campus. The activity was attended by all ROTC cadets, cadettes, and officers.
‎
‎During the formation, the cadets and officers participated in the registration for the ROTC Management Information System (RMIS) – Empowering Commanders with Actionable Insights. The registration was guided by SSg Armando E. Lopez Jr. (Inf) PA together with PFC Leomar Maguinda (Inf) PA
‎Acting Tactical NCO, who assisted the cadets and officers throughout the process.
‎
‎After the registration, Cdt Lt Col John Jeffrenz M Escuadro 1st class led the training of the cadets on Lakaran, focusing on proper movement, discipline, coordination, and following commands. The activity helped strengthen the cadets’ basic military skills and teamwork.

‎DON JOSE ECLEO MEMORIAL COLLEGE ROTC UNIT || 4th FORMATION DAY

‎The Don Jose Ecleo Memorial College Reserve Officer Training Corps Unit (DJEMC-ROTCU) conducted its 4th ROTC Formation on 16 August 2026 at 1300H at the DJEMC Gym, Justiniana, Edera, San Jose, Dinagat Islands.
‎
‎SSg Armando E Lopez Jr (Inf) PA, Tac NCO, 2nd Class and 1st Class ROTC officers, guided and taught the cadets on the proper ex*****on of basic military movements. The formation focused on strengthening the cadets’ knowledge and skills in basic military commands and its proper ex*****on.

‎Among the activities practiced were Lakaran, Harap-Harapan, and the proper way of rendering a military salute. The instructors demonstrated each movement and guided the cadets as they practiced emphasizing discipline, coordination, posture, and obedience.‎ This helped the cadets improve their knowledge, confidence and military bearing while developing discipline and teamwork essential for cadets.

‎The 4th ROTC Formation served as another opportunity for the cadets to develop their military skills, discipline, and readiness as members of the DJEMC-ROTCU.

‎DON JOSE ECLEO MEMORIAL COLLEGE ROTC UNIT || 4th Formation BLOOD LETTING DAY!
‎
‎The Don Jose Ecleo Memorial College Reserve Officer Training Corps Unit (DJEMC-ROTCU) will conduct its 4th ROTC Formation on August 15, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Operation Center, Sta. Cruz, San Jose, Dinagat Islands.
‎
‎The activity will be attended by all ROTC cadets and cadettes of DJEMC-ROTCU. This formation aims to strengthen discipline, teamwork, responsibility, and commitment among the cadets. It will also provide an opportunity for the cadets to participate in a meaningful bloodletting activity that promotes the importance of helping others and saving lives.
‎ The 1505th Community Defense Center, 15th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command, Philippine Army is one with the Philippine Army in conducting its Blood Donation on August 15 2026 at the Function Hall, Operations Center, PDRRMO, Brgy. Sta. Cuz, San Jose, Dinagat Islands.

‎With the theme, “Ang Inyong Matatag na Tagapag-buo ng laang kawal”, the Reservist of 1505th Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (RRIBn) led by LTC NILO P DEMEREY JR GSC PA (RES), Battalion Commander, through the supervision of MAJ VINCENT S CAVANAS (MI) PA, Director, 1505th Community Defense Center, 15th Regional Community Defense Group, RESCOM, PA, conducted the activity to promote emotional and physical health for the Reservists, Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Cadets of Surigao del Norte State University (SNSU) - Dinagat Extension and Don Jose Ecleo Memorial College (DJEMC), Dinagat Islands Provincial Police Office (DIPPO), other uniformed personnel and Civilians in the province through blood donation. This ensures that there is sufficient number of blood always available whenever and wherever needed. It enables medical professionals to perform complex procedures and respond to emergencies.

‎"Building Discipline Through Personal Hygiene and Followership"
‎
‎The 3rd Formation was successfully conducted with an informative discussion centered on Personal Hygiene & Sanitation and Followership in the Military.
‎
‎The activity aimed to strengthen the cadets’ understanding of discipline, proper grooming, personal responsibility, and the importance of maintaining a clean and presentable appearance. Cadets were reminded that personal hygiene and sanitation is not only a matter of cleanliness but also a reflection of discipline, self-respect, and readiness to perform their duties.
‎
‎The discussion also focused on Followership, an essential foundation of effective military service. Cadets learned the importance of respecting authority, following lawful orders, working as a team, accepting responsibilities, and supporting their leaders and fellow cadets. Good followership develops discipline and prepares individuals to become responsible and effective leaders in the future.
‎
‎The discussion was led by Sgt. Jenal G Caño, PA (RES) and supervised by SSg Armando E Lopez Jr. (Inf) PA, together with the dedicated ROTC Training Staff.
‎
‎Through activities such as this, the ROTC Unit continues to develop cadets not only physically, but also mentally and morally instilling the values of discipline, responsibility, respect, teamwork, and leadership.
‎
‎A disciplined cadet takes care of oneself, follows with purpose, and leads by example.
