π’ SAN DIEGO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SUCCESSFULLY CONDUCTS THE 2nd NATIONWIDE SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL (NSED) 2026 π«π¨
San Diego Elementary School successfully conducted the 2nd Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2026 on June 18, 2026, in accordance with the directives of the Department of Education (DepEd) and the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).
Under the leadership of OIC/PSDS MA. WENDYRICA G. BAΓARES, Assistant Principal Ludivina A. Porcare, and the dedicated members of the School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) Task Force, learners, teachers, and non-teaching personnel actively participated in the drill to strengthen earthquake preparedness and foster a culture of safety, vigilance, and resilience within the school community.
The activity highlighted the strong collaboration among the various SDRRM functional teams, Barangay Batasan Hills, led by Punong Barangay Jojo Abad and Council Members, as well as the SPTA Officers. The coordinated efforts of the Frontline Responders Team, Medical and Health Management Team, Information, Education, and Advocacy Team, Physical Facilities and Site Security Team, and Social Mobilization and Networking Team ensured the effective implementation of emergency preparedness and response protocols.
Through this meaningful exercise, San Diego Elementary School reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding lives and promoting disaster readiness among all stakeholders. Together, we continue to build a safer, more prepared, and more resilient school community.
